54321 WOW!!!, May 15, 2007

by Greg (Scotland, United Kingdom)

Wow indeed. Never in 20 minutes have I been so addicted to a game. Kudos is a game where you choose a character and live his or her life for 10 years. You start off in a dead end job, but work your way up by getting qualifications. You can buy pets, make friends and more. Try it!!

43211 My View Of Kudos.. :), May 09, 2007

by Jenni (england)

I think that Kudos is a game that can appeal to many different ages and personalities as the character you play, you give a personality to. For example, if you are a 30 year old male, with an average I.Q, culture is very important you, you are very happy but not so confident, you can reflect this in your character. I am a 13 year old girl, I’m quite a happy person, very confident and not at all cultural… and so I made my character this way, and it seems her likes and dislikes are very similar, if not the same, as mine.
What I especially like is that it is not aimed at a particular type of person… the game is not revolving around relationships, meaning children cannot play, but it does allow you to have candle light dinners and watch slushy movies!
You can do a range of other activities, all with varying prices, and for different personalities. You can also choose from a big range of jobs, depending on your qualifications.

54321 Kudos game is great, absolutely loved it, Apr 16, 2007

Thanks for coming up with such a great game.  I downloaded the demo version and was really disappointed when the demo had finished.  The game is a lot like the Sims game only the choices you make control the outcome of the game.  Thanks again

Kudos is an excellent simulation game that lets you control another persons life and make quick decisions. You dont actually move but it is just like living a normal life, normal things happen like, finding love, finding jobs, going to night classes and buying pets. If you live the sims this is the game for you.

43211 Kudos - Brilliantly Exciting, Apr 14, 2007

by Brita (USA)

I first saw this game by accident actually.  After reading the description, me and my brother became obsessed.  Our little demo trial lady was going to become a doctor, we decided.  She spent much free time running and taking medical and italian classes.  We were totally enthralled in the game, when we couldn’t go any further because our demo was up.  It is such a great game.  You see your person attempt to get out of their rut and go to school, make relationships, and eventually lead a successful and happy life.  My only negative comment would be that the trial was too short, and that there could probably be more opportunities for social interaction.  Reminded me a lot of The Sims, good for anyone who enjoys that type of game.

32121 Satisfactory game, Apr 12, 2007

by Dani (United States)

Kudos is an unique and interesting game. Although there are a variety of characters to choose from, the game’s review would rise signifigantly if you could design your own character. At first this game is extremely confuzing, but as soon as you get the hang of it, it’s almost impossable to stop playing. This highly addictive game throws in real life scenarios to add the feeling of truth to the game. With such a short time to play the free trial however, it is hard to get into pace with Kudos. As enjoyable as this game is, there is a dire need for a change in the set up in the game in my opinion. The fact that you can not walk around (like in the Sims) is a major turn-off.

Even though this game kept me playing it for a while it never seemed to get exciting. It seemed to follow the same routine over and over again. The game may me suitable for adults but may be a bit boring for teens.

43211 Can it replace y our own life?, Apr 01, 2007

by Fraser Clenahan (London Kent England)

Kudos is a the ultimate simulation, as all aspects of life are covered. It has a main gameplay problem that is friends or work. It’s because to gain a foothold on your education you need to go to evening classes. But what happens if someone invites you out for pizza? You have to choose, go for pizza and be happy in the short term or go to class and get an education so you can get a better job and be happy in the long term. Kudos adapts around the style of life you choose for your avatar, smart and lonley or stupid and happy

43211 Kudos: Full Review, Mar 31, 2007

by Fashbinder (Sunshine Coast, Australia)

Kudos is a life simulation game. You start at age 20 with a low paying job as a waiter and work your way to financial and social success.

The main aim of Kudos is to ultimately become a better person. By getting more skills you can earn more money, however money doesn’t buy happiness, friends do. So you have to carefully balance your life between work and play.

There are numerous professions to undertake, you can become: A scientist, a lawyer, a musician, a bodyguard, an actor, a journalist and many more.

With your hard earned money you’re able to purchase books, pets, cars, motorbikes, electronic gadgets and most importantly use it to spend time with friends.

The friend system in Kudos is alot like "The Sims" in which your friends have their own interests. For example, taking a friend who likes sports bowling will achieve a better result than one who doesn’t like sports.

In summary this game is very similar to the popular game "The Sims" and definatly worth a look for Sims fans.

43211 Very Good Example, Mar 31, 2007

by Marson (Jamaica)

Kudos is a very good example of what the average individual goes through on a daily. I believe it represents me well, in regards to making decisions. Many youngsters in this era tend to live their lives as though there are no consequences. Kudos shows what, in reality the consequences may be. The thing about the game I like most is that it gives you an opportunity to decide how you live your life. I kinda not like the way you don’t get to actually choose what you do during some of the planned events. I would give Kudos a 4.5 out of 5 because of it ‘s realistic approach, it uniqueness, and its originality.

I’m sorry but this Kudos game is lame. It really is slow and can’t seem to keep up to speed with the computer. I would have to give it one star.

43211 REal-NOtReal, Mar 24, 2007

by Neda (Belgrade, Serbia, Europa)

Great braintester, good story-very close to real life, obvious graphic which is not necessary in this kind of game.It will be even better with the possibility to combine more activities.
It is not only a game, it is real life.Good simulation for those 16-96 years old.You can find answer to very popular quesation ."What it would happen if I choose another way?"
There are many ways to manage Your virtual life, so be carefull, try opposite decesions.
P.S. Do not start with evening classes at the very begining, there is no garantie for better job and You can loose Your friends.

43211 Kudos, controlling a real life, Mar 23, 2007

by Isaac (Singapore)

To my dearest readers, if you ever come across this game Kudo, download or purchase it with no hesitation. It’s superb graphics, with real life pictures, make you feel as if you are your character.
What impressed me about the game was that I could control the entire life of my character. Unlike other "Sims" related games, this one also allows you to control its career. The dining places are so cool and diversified it makes me drool.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any sound effects which could actually liven the game. And the characters are also quite limited with constricted personality.
However, in conclusion, Kudos covers all aspect of life, teaching one to be balanced in life.

43211 KUDOS IS SO KOOL, Mar 22, 2007

43211 Kudos Review, Mar 20, 2007

by Isaac (Suffolk, England)

An excellent life simulating game which gives anyone with even a slight admiration for great games one heck of a time, a super game with only a few faults such as that it tends to get a bit boring and slow paced from time to time.
It starts with you choosing the personality and looks of your character and then you have 10 years (not REAL years!!) to elevate to better jobs, learn new skills and get money to use; all of this and what you do in your spare time alters and decides your characters mood.
So get playin’ and check it out people!!!

32121 kudos quickie..lol, Mar 20, 2007

by mya313 (Barbados)

kudos is a cool game..only thing is you don’t see what you actually do at the place or get to actually play and you should cuz it would be much cooler….in this game you choose how you want your character(male or female) to turn out by age 30.you choose their career and every move….it’s like running your own life(if u’s a kid)lol…you also choose if you want tthem to be someone who just likes partying or likes studying…..the ball’s in your court…it’s up to you what happens….oh…it similar to sims….orrite go and play dat kudos! lol…(kraze me)
