In Tank Universal, your character in the real world jacks into virtual reality and jumps into a huge "Tron-like" world full of intense 3D tank battles, hopelessly outnumbered. Use smart tactics and accurate firing to wade through 20 levels of some very cool battles.
Players can bombard the enemy from a distance using high powered shots or close the gap and dodge shells point blank - all in an immersive first person perspective. Take on static turrets and huge robot-like enemies but keep moving or you will be digitized.
Get upgrades and powerups for your tank by defeating enemies and progressing through the levels. At some points you will have to leave your tank and reach certain objectives to move the story along.

TRON meets Battlezone, Sep 07, 2009

There are few games like Tank Universal. Okay, so maybe that was a lie, but Tank Universal’s tried but true formula of tank combat still manages to look awesome, especially in some huge, massive battles. And that’s where the meat of this game comes in; big, open battlefields grant the player freedom to go where they need to in order to complete objectives, such as knocking out turrets around a fort so that allied artillery and tanks can destroy the enemy forces inside. That said, the game isn’t too long and is not the freshest. Overall though, the TRON-like vector graphics and decent gameplay make this game worthy of a purchase if not at least a download of the demo. It’s appropriate for all ages and there is no swearing, blood, or sex.
