In a game that feels much like Commandos and Desperados you will find intense action and thrilling gameplay. Helping the people and "relieving" the rich of all their surplus, you will be working Robin through fun adventures.

In this intense strategy game, you will have many objectives to choose from. The basic premise is you are trying to restore King Richard to his rightful place on the throne and in order to do so you must get gold and pay his ransom price. You will accomplish this on a series of missions launched from Sherwood Forest.

Will you choose to attack commoners along the road or a highly trained military unit? Of course the commoners would be easier, but the army will get you more gold. It's a game of risk assessment and resource allocation contained in an action packed storyline. You must plan your attacks strategically to amass as great of a fortune as possible with the least amount of fatalities.

You could attack everyone, but as you know, Robin Hood is loved by the people. If you choose this tactic, you will find the people won't help you and will become more and more against your cause. If you are good to the people they will be good to you. They will give you necessary clues and maybe even help hide you if that's needed.

When the Merrymen are back in Sherwood, you don't magically get more resources. You must specifically send in Merrymen to make arrows or leather coin purses and put them to work. Or, if you want to increase their fighting skills, you send them in for training.

From advanced enemy AI, great fighting scenes, resource production and allocation, great storyline to good graphics, it all in this game! The missions are open ended meaning you aren't stuck on a linear plot. You can choose the direction of the game.

The full version of Robin Hood features:

  • Follows storyline very well of Robin Hood

  • Funny and dynamic gameplay mixing stealth and action with hand-to-hand combat

  • 3 different mission types -- Robbery and Infiltration, Castle Attack and Ambush

  • Simple and highly intuitive interface

  • Different characters have differing skill sets make a much more intriguing play

  • Action adventure with stealth tactic elements

If you're a gamer who loves adventure RPGs, this is a game for you without a doubt! I wouldn't say this game is very much like Commandos -which by the way, is way more challenging. Robin Hood has its own 'feel' to it, and at times it can be rather hard(and frustrating) to complete missions, thats all part of the fun. Not only is this game enjoyable to play, but it really brings the legend back to life, making you feel part of the band of outlaws. I love the way most characters own a personal weapon of choice and can interact with the environment in there own way, the ability to select which players you want to use for a mission makes a good use for that and adds many good points to the game. The merry men reside in a safe clearing in the forests, there you can train you men to wield a sword, use a bow, make health potions, prepare food, brew ale, farm with bees etc(all extremely useful)! The graphics is in fact exquisite, with loads of detail and beautiful artwork.GREAT GAME!!

The Robin hood game is a classic, nearly everything in the book. The strategy for the game is fantastic. You may chose to assassinate your enemy with your bow, or knock them unconscious with your punch. Even though the game is a real time strategy, the graphic is quite poor. When you start the game, you saw this amazing trailer with cool graphic but the game is not all that flashy. The battle simulation is quite fair, you certainly can runaway from the enemy or massacre 20 guys. Yes you can kill 20 guys without dying, mostly because Robin dodge takes toll. However if you fight a sheriff, you might want your bow.So far that is the upside but however when you fight a archer or a crossbowman, they can attack you but you can't attack them. I highly suggest for all player who like graphic not to play this game. -Strategy-5 -Graphic -3 -Combat -4

Ever wanted to roam sherwood forrest or attack the baron? This is one game you don't want to miss! Its awesomely detailed graphics, fantastic environments and cool-as commanding opportunities to seize nottingham through serious skills and thought makes this game a really great game. I loved all of the details and specialized graphics. Compared to SO many games this is a really good game and is a very strategic game to. I hope you go well with all your strategies and battles.
