Not a bad effort. The graphics are pretty decent and they did nice job representing the jungles of Southeast Asia. The game is kinda fun because you’re forced to be stealthy instead of just blazing away at the enemy. The map is pretty useless but then again, it does help to recreate the confusion that soldiers felt trying to find their way through the jungle. The weapon sounds are okay but could use more work.
I rated this game as a 3 because of the map, the price and the sounds, and also because this is not the best game for a first time player of FPS’s of this type.

As far as historical first person shooters go this is better than most.  Graphics are good, gameplay sound, and controls adequate.  I did not find the inventory controls helpful, but that was relatively minor.  The in-game map, as mentioned, was less than helpful.  Graphics were realistic, and well done.  Although the sounds were not the best they were obviously rendered from the real weapons in question.  Weapons looked and acted like they should.  The missions were varied and intense.  Overall I would highly recommend this one.

this game introduce me into the real action of the green berets, great history, great graphics.
combines tactical and first person shoother games, realism in guns and uniforms
excelent play mode no combinations to do one thing, fun at max, realy i s an adicting game, is the worththe time to wait to play in other words is one of the best game i ever played

This game was more realistic than many shooters, it reminded me at times, of the first Call of Duty, only without team-mates. It offered a satisfying amount of weapons, each requiring a different strategy to use. However, the close combat weapons, left something to be desired as it is very hard to stalk enemies. This is not the traditional shoot-em-up; It combines elements of RPGs, Shooters and stealth games.The graphics were not great by todays standards, although they probably would have been considered pretty good five years ago. However, it does not subtract from the gameplay, but the sounds did. the sound effects were monotonous and unexciting. The ocassional bursts of suspenseful music were misplaced and the gunshot sounds were almost the same throughout the armoury. Although this game lacks interesting graphics and exciting sounds, it is backed up by solid gameplay. It’s definitely worth downloading. Overall, a 7.5/10

it is a great game! whoever likes action/war games get it. ther is only a little language, but of course action,it gets your heart pumping when u play, especially at night when u r home alone. lol! it is for 12 and up, the price should go down a little bit tho. it is worth the time if u like action, it is awesome!!!  it has good graphics too, not cheesy ones like other games

All the reviews for this game say it’s a masterpiece from what i’ve read so i decided i’ll try it out and i downloaded the 1 hour free demo trial.

At the begining of the game you’re in the middle of the jungles of vietnam with nothing but a Colt 1903 pistol, a small combat knife and a machete. The controls were complicated at first so I changed them to the basic FPS controls (W=up S=down ect.)

The effects for some of the weapons could use improvement and i couldn’t see any of the NVA or vietcong soldiers before I was getting shot and I died almost instantly at first. Even on the easy difficulty this game is tough to get through.

The Good: The games graphics are good even on the free trial and it has a very realistic setting.

Conclusion: I wouldn’t recommend buying this game before playing the demo because you might be disapointed.

this game was the funnest one ive ever played and im not lying just to get 2 free full version games! i seriously LOVE how the blood flys out of the vietcongs helmet when you shoot them!!! This was the Best game out of all the games ive played even better than all my ps2 xbox xbox360 and computer games ive ever played.          P.S. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

A Good game with very good graphics but looking at the map where are you going next? no information on where to go the map has no bearings no villages defined it leaves you in the wilderness with nowhere to go I do like the game but feel lost all the time

The game play takes a minute to learn, and there is a lot of it to take in.  However once you have mastered half of the controls, the rest comes to you very smoothly.  The graphics of the game are second to none, including the Rainbow Six games.  There really isn’t much bad to say about this game, the only thing would be the time it takes to actually download, but once you get into it, you won’t want to leave, i would purchase this game twice just because it’s worth that much.  The characters are well drawn out, the game play is excellent, the graphics are the best in the business, and it’s worth every penny to buy.  I wouldn’t recommend the game to kids, but the adults that play this will be very pleased with the entire gaming experience.  I suggest keeping your eyes and ears open once you land in Vietnam, because "Charlie" will be lurking around every corner.
