Nice game but not that effective, Nov 15, 2009

A nice game which is really a game that shows the problems of a trucker. It’s a lot of fun to manage a truck and especially with a heavy load as you drive your mammoth over thousands of mile. But not that effective, but you should try 18 wheels of steel haulin.

how this teaches people that want to drive trucks but they can't., Oct 14, 2009

I found that this game was a good learning opportunity for me. My dad was a truck driver so that’s what I am going to do when I get my commercial license and my truck, which if I can afford a Kenworth W900 sleeper the color would be black. This game allows people to see what truckers do for a living to see how hard it is to be a truck driver.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

I love the pc game, it’s just like driving a real truck. The way the truck handles, the way the gears shift, you can pick your own loads, you also get gas, roadside assistance, you can get rest when you need it, wait for your loads to be ready to pick up, you also can talk on the cb, check out your account, you can also be your own boss, buy your own trucks, start your own company, have people working for you. Also, I just love everything about it and more.

18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal Player Comments
- "The ability to freely drive through many different cities and deliver many different types of goods is great. Choosing from many different trucks and trailers, you work for or own a trucking company and deliver goods to major cities across America...18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Medal is a great game and is definitely worth the money to upgrade the trial version to the unlimited access version." - Dan from Pittsburgh, PA, USA, 5/5 stars
- "18 wheels of steel pedal to the medal is a excellent game. When i played it the first time i was amazed of how good the graphics were. i was also surprised in how accurate the map and highway is. whoever created this game i give that person alot of credit because this is the most excellent driving game i have ever played!!!" - Sebron maze from Sycamore, IL,USA, 4.5/5 stars
- "18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal is the best game ever. The object of the game is to deliver your cargo to the destination on time. You get to drive all over the US and parts of Mexico and Canada too. While delivering the cargo, you have to be careful not to do anything illegal (like driving on the wrong side of the street), or else the cops will start chasing you. Also, if you drive too fast and hit something, you might lose your trailer, so you have to drive responsibly. You also have to remember to keep an eye on your gas tank so you don't run out of gas. This game is very realistic. The other great thing about this game is that if you get bored of driving around, than you can become a "truck company owner" and "manage your own business." This game is worth every penny and is the best game ever!!!" - Sam Wyan from NJ, USA
