The game is great.It has excellent graphics,gameplay and audio.I love the twist in this game.Most racing games are only about choosing a car and racing with it. I really, really loved this game when it first came out years ago. The game had SO much potential! What driven me to play this game STILL to this very day is the fact that you can seriously customize your ride. When the box ad said “customize”, they really mean it. From the nitty to the gritty, you build your own engine (and car) piece by piece (IE Exhaust, turbo, manifolds, etc. YOU build it!), put your rims and tires together, bodykits, etc. You buy it, you build it. I never seen any other game like that in my gamer racing history and I don’t think there’ll be another like this anytime soon. The only downside to it is that the game crashes after a certain point. It can be avoided by not taking on the main race, but then, you won’t progress in your career like adventure. But nonetheless, you can still enjoy taking other racer’s cars, money, and respect on the side tho. The gameplay is well balanced too. It doesn’t feel like a driving sim nor does it feel like Sega Rally where it’s like driving on a greased up street. If memory serves me correct, you can however adjust the car’s handling and what not so it’s not a big issue at all. Just don’t be alarmed if you find that you can’t run your car through what seem to be frail objects like cactuses and what not. Not everything is interactive. You damage your car, you’re going to see the results in both looks AND performance. If you’re not a baller in the game raking in big money from races, engine rebuilding can be costly like in real life LoL. Oh, and make sure you know what part is compatible with what car when ordering parts. I wish the game’s catalogue (shopping for parts that is) was more descriptive and gave us players a better view of the parts we try to buy. The thumbnail can be so ridiculously small. But as I mentioned, know your car’s compatibility with parts. If anything, build 2 different engines so you can swap them anytime one gets damaged. That’s all I can say about this game. It’s awesome and worth playing. You’ll start off bored, but it gets better shortly. Trust me and the comments before this post. It’s true.
Dang, I wish they had made a part 3. They woulda got my money for this game!

Its like a mix of Midnight Club and Need for Speed.

Its like 2 of my favorite games put into one. I love the customization part. Its realistic, Fun, and Legal Racing!

I love drifting and just cruising on the streets. I love all the cars in it.
The crashing is sorta realistic, has some flaws, but overall, the game is pretty fun.

It also offers a city that can be driven on no matter where. It even offers cars from real life from a two door honda civic to a corvette and even a few trucks!
