good quick workout for brain., Sep 16, 2008
by Carmel McAuley (Palm Cove, Australia)
The game is addictive as it really gets the mind to work on solving all the words from the given letters, to solve each level to advance to a higher level is a great incentive to do better, to stride to really concentrate and see the mind solving capabilities of ones brain. Adults are to be encouraged to keep the mind active, this is a great example of what people should do to help oneself. A very consuming game.

text twist, Sep 12, 2008
by liz (new zealand)
Text twist is a very addicting and fun way to learn new word and making your mind work with out even seeming like it. I love just hopping onto text twist to relax for a minute and to beat my previous score! Ages of all kinds can get heaps from it kids learning new words in a fun and interactive way, and adults can rexlax in front of the screen and use parts of their brain which wouldn’t usually be used. i am dyslexic and it is a fantastic game for stimulating the mind and learning while not having a clue that you are. The scoring makes u push harder and work your mind and get excited with words. Well worth the dowload and more so the full version. recommended to all!!!

Wordsmiths will love Super Text Twist!, Jul 18, 2008
by Paula (Mountain View, California USA)
Whether I have only a few minutes, or a more extended period of time, Super Text Twist is my go to game. The object is to make as many words as possible from six or seven letters. You progress to the next puzzle by making a word that uses all the letters, but you get more points by making as many words as possible using three letters or more. If I’m in a rush, I’ll just try to guess the word that uses all the letters to see how many puzzles I can solve in a few minutes. When I have more time, I play for points, trying to eak out every single word possible from the letters given for each puzzle. When I’m sharp and awake, I play in the timed mode, which gives you two minutes to identify the word that uses all the letters. If I’m playing while I watch TV, I play in the untimned mode so I can take my time coming up with as many words as possible. I have proven that the score counter goes into the millions!! Memorize the unusual three and four letter words to maximize your points.

I found the vocabulary sadly lacking and gave up after playing 3 games. I play this sort of game from daily newspapers here in UK and find them more challenging.

The Good features outweighs the 'not-so' Bad Features..!!, Oct 03, 2007
by Arunkumar, K. (London, UK)
I used to play this game using pencil & paper with my friends during some boring lectures in my Univ, classes. It’s really gr8 2 know tht it has evolved into a digital version. Now let me list some of the Good and ‘not-so’ Bad features:
"G.O.O.D": 1)clean,simple,easy-to-use interface; 2)improves players vocabulary(i learned lots of new words from it); 3)2 game modes is nice especially timed-mode(edge-of-the seat-thriller); 4)very rarely repeated words cos’ of a plethora of words in the database; 5)challenges even the sharpest word wranglers
"B.A.D": 1)No music and minimal sound-effects; 2)no options for players to create and develop their own customized word lists which for example is present in the word game "HangARoo"; 3)everytime i come across a new word(even some 3-letter words) i have to search for a dictionary and it would be really better if the game itself has a small icon beside hard words that displays the meaning when it is clicked.
Finally, I rate an overall 4/5.

Good Brain game after a stroke, Jul 17, 2007
by Anonymous
Am a psychiatrist and I had a stroke at age 59. In the first month I lost part of my short term memory. I was determined to get back to my former brain function. I use to enjoy word games like super twist, Scrabble and the bookworm prior to my cerebro-vascular accident. I patiently went back to regain my former vocabulary ability. Playing the challenge of scrambled letters with the Super Twist hasten my recuperation. Now am back to my usual professional activity and I am enjoying the challenge of the game as I did earlier.

Fun and educational!, Jul 02, 2007
by Armi (Philippines)
Playing this game has been a daily routine not just for me but for the whole family. We take turns to beat the highest scorer. It’s not only fun and exciting but educational as well. It does not only enrich and widen your vocabulary, but it develops your skill to think and type fast. I really love this game because since then my family became closer and we are really having so much fun playing this wonderful game together.

Best word game yet!!, Jun 16, 2007
by Amanda (Sedalia, MO)
Text Twist is the best word game I have come across so far. I am totally addicted to it! Not only is it fun to play, but you expand your vocabulary too. In the deluxe version, if you don’t know the meaning of a word, all you do is run your cursor over the word and the definition pops up. This is a very fun and educational game that everyone should try at least once.

Excellent!!, Jun 12, 2007

It is by far, the most fun and addictive game I’ve ever played! I could spend hours just by thinking the possible words to fill up the spaces. I have got both my parents to be attached to this game as well. It’ll be interesting to see the schools to introduce and encourage this game to their students..

Text Twist Addict, May 13, 2007

This is a wonderful game that was introduced to me by one of my high school students. Not only did a group of students, plus myself, end up playing the game non-stop after school, but we all learned that we were adding new words to our vocabulary. We were immediately addicted to the game and we found ourselves competing to come up with the most words, especially the one with the most letters. I have become an aficionado of the game and years later, I find myself playing the game to relax, de-stress, and enjoy a few hours of fun. My husband and adult sons now join in on the fun and it can become a bit competitive. Everyone wants to be the one that unscrambles the most words.
