54321 So simple but so fun, Aug 23, 2009

by Olivier (Phu Quoc, KG Viet Nam)

It’s a long time since I have found a game as this one. The graphics are simple but nice, the gameplay is easy, you can play 5 minutes or 3 hours no problem with the possibility to save everywhere. For me, it’s the perfect game for travel, take a rest in my job, or for every free time you have.

it was great to have the game like that, lot of ships pirates, guns, business, ports, gold, and lot more like that, mind blowing graphics, and sounds, especially the strategy and mangaing skills. the best game i have ever played.

this game is ok for kids up to about 10 the controls are easy to use the game play is simple the game is fun for a while then it just gets boring if you are looking for a hardcore shoot em up game this is not for you this game’s graphics aren’t the best i have seen but they are some of the better ones

all and all i think this game deserves 3 stars and is suitable for audiences of 10-5 years of age

This is one of the best games that I have played..after Aveyond!First, I found Tradewinds quite boring but, Tradewinds 2 has really changed the scenario. It is a kind of game that never lets you get your eyes off for the whole sixty minutes..wish I could play the game for a longer time. But it is one heck of a crackling game..

43211 Tradewinds-2 A quest for pirate adventure., Dec 30, 2007

by Srinivas (Mumbai(Bombay),India.)

This game is totally superb. Its the best in strategies.First you start with any 1 out of four diffrent characters to choose from! Then by good, jewels, arms, and sell them to diffrent ports.Work for the governer and make a name for yourself.Run errands for governers of diffrent cities.Catch and kill pirates make money.Deposit it in a bank and you will get good intrest and returns.OR if out of money borrow some from the money lender.Buy bigger, better, stronger ships and add a advantage to it like cannons, diffrent types of bombs, voodoo dolls, lucky charms, buy rounds of drinks from the bar and even get information of the wherebouts of persons you are searching for.All over this is a mindblowing, mind challenging Game.So ahoy all the way.

43211 Fun game, Nov 24, 2007

I find this game amusing and fun but hard to understand for beginning players. Otherwise i find this game fun and action packed but not for everyone.  only because of its complicated objectives and slight violence so i think that all players 10 and up would have a great time playing this exciting game.

54321 Tradewinds 2: A Non-stop adventure!, Sep 08, 2007

by Robert Hain (Glasgow)

When playing Tradewinds 1, you may think that something better is hard to come by, but this game tops it and with flying colours. Tradewinds 2 is a pirate adventure game that allows the player to pick a captain and work through a journey to rule the Caribbean. An excellent game that involves so many features that listing them all would hurt my fingers. A game that can be enjoyed by anyone as you fight pirate battles, trade merchandise and perform missions given to you by governors of different ports. This game will certainly shiver your timbers so I would really suggest you try it out, and if you don’t like it, then fun games really are not your thing. After playing this game, you will be wanting to hoist the colours for the next addition to the Tradewinds. A short wait is all it takes to download and it is certainly worth the money on full version. Outstanding is one of the very few words to describe this game so give it a try now!

54321 AMAZING, Jul 04, 2007

by Dillon (AB, Canada)

All I can say is wow. This game is so much fun! It makes me want to be a trader.

This game has so many different things smooshed into it. You start off with choosing from a few characters (once you complete the game it enables you to make your own), then you get a ship and you start! You can go from place to place buying low and selling high! You can do quests for people, borrow money, put money in the bank, acquire special items, and fight in pirate battles!

This game is action packed and will keep you occupied for hours. It’s not hard either! If I could find this game in a store I’d defiantly buy it!

54321 A Test of Your Entrepreneuring Skills, Jun 04, 2007

by phoenix (LA, CA. U.S.A.)

This is one of the best games I have ever encountered. It features many different aspects of a real "life on the seas" experience, along with magic and fantasy. In the game, you perform tasks for your local governor, embarking on journeys to different lands, making profits from buying-high selling-low; and if you accomplish a task, you either get a money reward, mystical (or cursed) items, or even a map to a new port! During these perilous journeys you will encounter pirates and convicts, people with hefty bounties on their heads. With some you have to battle to take them down, with others you might be persuaded to aid them in their escape. Battling on the waves all depend on the upkeep of your sailing vessel, the stock of magical ammunition and the skill and strategizing of your captainship. This is the ultimate experience for people who want challenges where skill, as well as luck, is key. It all depends on how you sail your boat and whether you play it fair or smuggle in contraband.

43211 Great!, Jun 01, 2007

by Retrac (Austin TX USA)

Tradewinds 2 is the overall best of the Tradewinds series. A little more towards the realm of reality than Tradewinds Legends but still entertaining and captivating, Tradewinds 2 is easy to play and full of twists and turns. The graphics are OK, but it is a Tradewinds game. Tradewinds 2 removes the turnbased battle, although it still remains slow and easy even when in battle. Also, pirates can take over ports, adding a a new concept of war with fortresses and gun towers. Other ideas in and of the game bring down the overall effect, like the mythical side to it, but otherwise, Tradewinds 2 is a great game.
