Everyone’s been wondering if this game is as good as everyone says. It IS. This game is stuffed with cool features, especially the online play. This has so many great things, but one draw-back: The game gets stale. It’s intense for a while, but then you feel repetitiveness. That doesn’t mean you don’t want to play once and then be done with it! A while later you want to make Unhappy citizens at least Content over and over. This is a great game although it’s not up to date with 3D graphics. Once you’ve played it yourself, you’ll be hooked! Even younger children enjoy this game! If you’ve ever thought about being the Dominator of the World, then start by buying this game. The memories you will make building landmarks and fending off Barbarians will be worth the low fee.

This game is very fun and challenging. It requires some strategy, and if you make the right choices at the start it is still fun cruising through and defeating your enemies. The problem is, it is hard to make the best choices, and that is what makes it so fun. It’s great making complex empires, putting your cities in strange designs and patterns, and attacking enemies is very satisfying as you watch your elite spearmen beat down a troop of untrained warriors. I think the offerings of the enemies are a little ridiculous, they demanded everything I had and a payment of 1 gold, although you can make them reconsider for a less price, but other than that it is pretty good.

I have played this on my iMac and PC Both just as addicting and with great graphics. Even at the beginning when you are terrible it’s extremely fun, just like when you can build planes and lasers! Since the rating only went to five stars I had to put five, but I would put 20+!

I recommend this game to everyone. If you like command and conquer or sims city you will love this game. Its all about building a nation through many different eras, A race against time really. Also a great game to learn history. there are 16 different nations to choose from. in conclusion i would have to say this game is one of the greatest games ive played in awhile. Anyone who is a gamer will love this game.It has all the qualities needed for an excellent war game.You can build up an army on strength,culture and So much more!!I have played tons of video PC games before but this blows them away. the way I learned how to play is my sisters boyfriend had it installed in his computer soo I said ill give it a try. I ended up playing it for 7 hours straight!!!IT is defintely worth buying and it is something that the whole family can play.I love this PC game and i bet you that once you start playing,You be attached to that game for hours.Oh sure you dont want to get to attached to it but it would be pretty hard.Those reasons are my reasons why you will LOVE this game!!

I thought it was an interesting game that hooks you but doesn’t get you addicted. It really makes you feel in control and like you can choose how the people live. You can make the people do what you like. You really just feel powerful. I think it’s an amazing game that you could play for hours. good for people 11+.

An amazing game with the combination of strategy and all out combat. It is very attracting, but doesn’t get you addicted. Very unique and overall one of the greatest games I myself as a gamer have played. Shows evolution and how mankind advanced in technology. Fun to show off to your friends, show them what has happened in your world, and know who your friends on the game are. The war is not bloody making the game healthy for anyone ages 8 and up.The challenge of defeating your enemy and managing to keep your wealth up is even matched making the game fun, not too hard. I would highly recommend testing the game, buying it if you like it, then showing off to your friends.

Good strategy game that really challenges the mind. Fun game for both adults and kids around age 10 and up. Start a civilization from the time of the cavemen. You can keep it going to past the current present. Choose from some of the most powerful ancient civilizations, for example Rome or Greece. You can play single player against the computer or with a friend or anybody around the world online. I really enjoyed the great game graphics and playing from the third person view. Compared to other games such as age of empires, the fact that civilization goes into the future and past 2000 A.D. and beyond makes it a much more mind-challenging and more advanced. This is a game that is worth the cost!

This is the greatest game youll ever play id pay millions for the full version and hundreds for a one hour DEMO! This game rocks and the character personalities were awesome too! I was playing and Gandi offered me all sorts of stuff just for my world map! I first played the game on my cell phone and i thought was really good if not a little boring, (only a little) I could play this game for days on end! I love the trade aspect that just makes the game even more worthwhile. This game is the greatest strategy game ever. I strongly recommend this game. Also There are so many different characters and civilizations too choose from it still blows me away. I look forward to playing the multi-player version online.

This game takes a lot about life, smashes it all together, and produces one really fun game.  I usually find games like this very repetitive and become easily bored with them, but this game kept me hooked.  The first time I played it I didn’t have enough money to buy it, so I went from site to site downloading a trial just so I could play it.  It is THAT fun.  It is sort of hard to get to used to the button system (its what i call the commands.  There are a series of little buttons near the bottom of the screen when you select a unit that tells what they can do on that particular spot), but once you do it is very simple.  You can research technologies to upgrade your civilization to different eras (era around 1500 B.C. to the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, etc.); trade technologies, money, maps and more with other civilizations and much, MUCH more!  This, truly, is a great game!

    Civ 3 Gold Edition is possibly, no it is the most addictive strategy game I have ever played. I love how the game takes you through the different ages of the world, and how you have the choice to build your civilization. The download and istallation of the trial version was most definitely worth the wait. I would wait over and over again. The way I want to describe this game is so hard because there are so many positive words going threw my head, and I can’t seem to choose which to use. The game is Addictive, Strategic, and even Educational. That’s my favorite part since I’m a history guru. The choice of civilizations you’ve made available to choose from are the most awesome, of course. The way you get to choose how you would like to win the game whether it be diplomatic, space race, or even domination is so freaking cool!!! I love the graphics the game provides as well as the… well the entire set-up of the greatest game in HISTORY! I can’t wait till I get to play civ 3 GD again.

This game is fun, but got old after about 20 hours of game play. The game can be set to go very quickly in the solo version, but multiplayer can take hours. It’s a very fun God-mode sim game though, and I recommend it to anyone who wished as a child they could control the world. ;)

I’m here to tell you about Civilization 3 and why should you buy it.
My first impression of this game was like any other game that people would enjoy playing, and this one was a success. Pretty much the game is about control of the you own nation. You can tell your units where to build cities, who to attack and bunch of other great things. Where else would you expect to build your own empire is the king of the world. You could even start world war if you wanted to.
  I mean yeah you can find other games alike but not like this one. But with such a details and creativity I’m myself couldn’t take my eyes off of it for practically couple days. You just get right into it. Other really cool feature about this game is online gaming; you can fight with your friends or just play with people from all over the whole world. I’m telling you if you really want to have fun and joy, this game definitely worth it. And the price is truly fare for such amazing beauty. Buy it trust me you won’t regret

the perfect combination of war, trading, diplomacy and,well, life. this game is fun clean, and addicting. in my estimation the best game ever (exept mabey civ IV)
