Sid Meiers Civilization 3, is an adventure packed game that involves building empires, colonizing, exploring and much more! It’s a game that is recommended for all ages and instead becomes MORE fun as you age older. This has been my favorite PC game since I was about 9-10 years old, and four years later it still remains my favorite. I recommend this game to everyone!

civilization 3 is one of the best games Ive ever played, the strategy that is takes to thrive will keep you playing for hours. the thrill of taking the enemies settlements will also keep you trying to take more and more. one of my favorite things to do is growing my army and culture simultaneously so that you can a enemies village peacefully and physically if time is called. I’d definitely rate it a 5/5 game. i recommend to anyone who enjoys fun.

The civilization series gives the gamer that little extra push when it comes to gaming.
I have been into the civilization series and it is phenominal to me and to all of which have experienced these great games.
Civilization 3 the gold edition is unique to the other civilization games.

Civilization 3 is an extremely fun and exciting game as you progress. The mapping, controls and also the graphical methods were used extremely well from my view.
The game does have a few minor infractions of which are not to be of hast. The game has really given me an experience to me and many people i know who have the game and i hope another game just like it comes out soon.

The game is more than worth the price asked for downloading it because you will be fascinated in a way of which you will not go back to what you used to do. The game is suitable for people of all ages if they can read, move, see and do not have epilepsy.

WOW! If you have played civ 1 and 2 you know this is worth the wait. Civilization 3 is far superior to 1 or 2 you have way more options to choose from and gameplay is much more interesting. If you are in search of a prime action and strategy game this is definitely one to check out.

This has got to be the best strategy game out there.  If you like war and trying to get world domination I would highly reccomend this game to you.  You start off with just one city, but if you can plan it all out you can either take over the whole world or try to make piece with the other leaders.  What I liked about this game is how you could choose how to run your cities, what the people would build in them,  and i especially liked that you could actually view your city and what it looks likes.  You can train forces or build stuff.  You can even take over the other leaders cities if your brave enough.  But in conclusion I would have to say this is definitely the best game I have ever played on my computer.

I like the new Civilization to play against along with the old

The graphics seem cleaner than in previous verision

I didn’t get varry far with the free version Now after playing this one I’ll have to choose to buy this one or Civilization 4

Civ 3 Gold Edition is possibly, no it is the most addictive strategy game I have ever played. I love how the game takes you through the different ages of the world, and how you have the choice to build your civilization. The download and installation of the trial version was most definitely worth the wait. I would wait over and over again. The way I want to describe this game is so hard because there are so many positive words going threw my head, and I can’t seem to choose which to use. The game is Addictive, Strategic, and even Educational. That’s my favorite part since I’m a history guru. The choice of civilizations you’ve made available to choose from are the most awesome, of course. The way you get to choose how you would like to win the game whether it be diplomatic, space race, or even domination is so freaking cool!!! I love the graphics the game provides as well as the… well the entire set-up of the greatest game in HISTORY! I can’t wait till I get to play civ 3 GD again.

This is a wonderful game. Period. I loved it, especially building wonders. One of the funnest parts is looking at your city with its wonders. There is one downside, and that is if your playing on an old Windows XP the beginning is a little slow. This is definitly worth the price/time to download. This game is also fun for kids but once your about 14-15 it gets boring, especially with more advanced games on the market. But all in all, this is a great game, you should get it.

First of all, I was a huge fan of Civilization III, the original. So, naturally, when Gold came out, I flocked to it. I was extremely pleased with the new nations, and the diplomacy screen seemed improved. As I played through the game, I also noticed that some of the infantry pieces in the game had changed, for example: the Meideval Infantry was one that I frequently came across. Other than that, I would say that Civilization III: Gold Edition is 100% better than the original. If you are reading this and you do not own the game, or are considering to buy it, trust me. Buy it!

This is the second PC game i ever played that was about 4 years ago, its what started off my love for PC games. i still play it to this day and get loads of fun from it. No question it gets 5 stars it is a real classic.

I thought that Civ III was perhaps one of the greatest games I have ever played. The picture quality beats all and I was fascinated by the realness of it. I thought that it was a little better than Age of Empires III, which at one point I thought could never be beaten. The only downside to this game is that it is a little to easy to beat. However, it was still absolutely the best game I have played and I will stick to that. May Civ III reign supreme forever.

I have Civilization 2, but this game is so much better than the first one! It has better graphics, better government set-ups and amazing war settings!
