KUDOS to Kudos, Jan 14, 2008
by Tina (Jamaica, W.I)
The first time i played this game i was a bit skeptic because i had played so many other strategy games before and after getting the hang of it your time is up but after the first 5mins of Kudos i was hooked. Its like real life you want to live. I cant wait to come to work everyday just to play. In my ten years life span i became a surgeon, owned an expensive car made a lot of money, hung out with the popular groups, ate at expensive restaurants, lived a balanced, healthy and happy life. I also got the opportunity to become very cultured and well spoken. It was so much fun i even forgot it was a game lol.The only thing i did not like was that the trial version expired lol, I would definitely load the full version if i could.
KUDOS to Kudos!!!

Kudos is a great game. Its an interactive game where you try and make friends, get cash, and lots more.
You can also buy pets you would need to feed them. Theres not much you can do with them though.
This game is where you are a person and you try and get good in all sorts of things like acting, language, and much more which will help you get a good or great job. Happiness is very important if your not your friends won’t be happy either. Kudos is kind of like what happens in real life. I think this would be most suitable for teens and older.
When I started playing this game I thought it was awsome! I would rate this game about 4.5 it was a GREAT game. So hope when you play this game you like this too.

Kudos...Addicting...Fun...and most of all...Realistic., Jan 01, 2008

Kudos is a lot of fun! What I love most about it is that it is realistic. They give you actual scenarios that us "average" people have to figure out in the real world sometimes. It can actually teach you a lot. I recommend it to anybody and everybody who wants to have a good time. Thanks Kudos!

The New- Improved Sims, Dec 14, 2007
by Aidan (Australia)
I thought this was a great game, the virtual life aspect of the game is clearly comparable to The Sims series. I personally found it more fun than The Sims however, as there is no hassle of actually having to live their whole life such as going to the toilet and getting food etc, i find that these things tend to make the game boring, this is where Kudos excels, you get to make important life decisions and build relationships in a much less complicated way. if you enjoy playing the sims of other games along those line or even just want to try something new, i suggest this game.

Well.....Not the best...at all., Dec 06, 2007

Okay so I started up this game hoping for an exciting exhilerating experience playing Kudos. So I click start new game and then you create "your own" charactor. Tons of people were telling me " Oh ya and you can customize and create your own character", Well they lied to me. You get to pick from a couple of premade avatars and there name also you get to pick your character’s confedience, Intelligence, Strength and 2 more other traits (Can’t remember the other two traits). So after that people were telling me that this was like the sims. No way. This wasn’t even close to being simalar to The Sims. All you do is pick career path read couple of dialoges and Go shopping and keep your Avatar happy. You can’t even customize or look at your house all you see is lousy menus and your character with backround weather!!! YAA dosen’t it sound like so much fun…no it dosen’t actually. This game is only for hardcore customization gamers out there also trust me this game isnt simple!!! SO BEWARE!!!!

Nice concept for a game but a bit boring. I do like simulation games. The first Sim City is still my favorite. Rollercoaster Tycoon is another fav.. This is entertaining enough but monotony will set in after a few hours of play time.

Good Game, Nov 24, 2007
by Jessica (Bremerton, WA USA)
Kudos is a fun game about living your own life with your pick of jobs, free time, and friends. At first this game is fun, but to tell the truth after some time the game gets slightly tiring and lengthy. You’re aloud to name and pick your own character, and then pursue your carreer, through picking as many college classes as desired. You make many friends, and you work at not loosing them by hanging out and doing activities that interest and bring joy to them. If you want alone time, you’re able to go shopping and buy whatever you please, clean your home, take a bubble bath, and many others. The objective is basically to make your life successful by making enough money and staying happy, by not drinking or becoming to lonely or stressed. You also work on staying fit and not gaining weight by doing sports and walking to work or taking a jog. All in all, this game is pretty fun and enjoyable…but can also get pretty boring if you get tired of doing the same thing day, after day. Kudos

Kudos, The best simulation Game EVER!!!, Nov 18, 2007
by Rachel (London, Engand)
Kudos has the best simulation graphics and is THE tool to teach children about life.
Being in complete control of your life you can do whatever you want to do and customise your character however you want.
This game is great for all ages above 15.
Though it is similar to the sims it is far better as it gives you more freedom to do what you wish with your character. You can choose any path in life and meet and make friends with lots of people.
Kudos is the best game EVER!!!

Easily the best life simulation game, though admittingly there aren’t that many of them out there. In Kudos you take control of the life of a man just moving out to live on his/her own. You control all the aspects of their life, from who they see and what they do, to what subjects they study and what job they apply for. I just think that the concept alone is amazing, it may not be much into the graphics and mini-game areas(which is the only reason it did not recieve a 5), but the choices and the basics alone were more than enough to make up for that. Whoever made this game put an amazing amount of thought into this game. I highly recommend it to anybody who is interested in games where they want to take control of their own life without having to follow a storyline.

kudos has the very basics of life put in a very pc computerized video game.kudos has taught my child what to do caught in these situation. The thought of starting as a waiter and going to a certain college can change almost anything.kudos has a perfect way to show how to get a wife or girlfriend when you need to do something else instead you make that sacrifice for that woman.

Totally Addictive, Oct 28, 2007

This game is so simple yet so addictive to play. I have played it so many times, and each time the life of my character was always different. You have to socialise with friends before you become a loner. You need to take evening classes so you can get a high paid job. You can buy books to read and pets to keep you company and scare away thieves. Day by day you have to make choices that will affect how your life will turn out. Its such a challenge yet someone of a very young age would be able to play it. I really recommend this game to anyone who likes virtual and stimulating games! It definitely gets my thumbs up.

An enjoyable game, Oct 14, 2007
by Isaac (Singapore)
Kudos hones one’s life skills by allowing the player to manage a life and construct a network of friends through social activities like going for a movie. After each event, there are ratings to inform the quality of it. I like the part where I have choices to make such as the type of food to dine on in a restaurant and each choice has a consequence. If one decides to feast with alcohol, his alcohol level will rise and it affects the job prospects. This is indeed realistic. In life, we also have diverse choices but deciding on the right one to attain desirable results is challenging.
However, there are rooms for improvement. The game has a weak graphic and all it displays is the protagonist and the objects such as the immobile car, the piano, etc. I understand that it is redundant to showcase the detailed graphics because it does not contribute to the game. Instead it uses space. This is where the second problem comes in. The game is not a competent platform for one to showcase his imaginations. It is very restricted and it drags on after one has achieved the ‘ultimate lifestyle’, which is described as ‘wealthy and accomplished’. One would feel accomplished on achieving this, because he has started from ‘an unemployed recluse’. However, the game is claustrophobic and does not allow marriages, what’s more houses, better jobs (blending in with clinching of deals) and hence, it becomes lackluster and after playing the free trial once, he or she would not give it a second glance.
Hence, I urge the game producer to expand it a little with more job opportunities, more endings and dramatic situations (like problems of relatives, in-laws and marriages). This would definitely fortify the game, making it even more realistic and appealing.
Nevertheless, the idea of this tortuously crafted game is very fresh and YOU ought to try it at least once.

I never knew that playing a game on a computer could be so much fun and have you wanting to play again and again. Until I played Kudos. Oh my God I’am telling you I ENJOYED PLAYING THE GAME SO MUCH! It was boring at first until I really sat there in got a hand of it. It seems as if the more I played the more I learned. It’s a very cool game. But only if life was that easy.
BOTH THUMBS UP TO KUDOS!!!!!!!!

Kudos: Real life, but better., Oct 06, 2007

Ever wanted to do something, but be unable to do that? Well, have no fear, Kudos is here! In this game you take control of a dropout with no talents or skills whatsoever, and shape them into a rich… well, whatever. It’s up to you.
When I first played Kudos, I didn’t realize what a good game it was. I was, sadly, on a demo version, which limited my ability to enjoy greatly.
However, upon chancing on a time-limited full-version, I saw what a great game it truly was.
In Kudos, you start out without any skills or talents whatsoever, but as the game progresses you a) buy things which give you more things to do b) make friends who make the game more interesting and challenging to be social c) learn skills that let you do more things.
To put the above in a nutshell, Kudos is a great, open-ended game that expands as you do more things, with conditions (like snow, which enables the ‘Snowball Fight’ thing) that enhance the gameplay, and the developers stick in lots of funny descriptions.

by Triphibious (Utrecht, the Netherlands)
After downloading the demo version and it suddenly stopped..arghh.. I’m hooked already and I don’t want to stop!
I like that it’s close to reality, making life’s choices, saying yes to one thing is sometimes saying no to something else. Like taking an evening course has it’s effects on your social life. It’s more realistic than the sims, more straightforward. I like the ‘simple’ presentation of the game, it’s fun and worth while to download. I’m certainly going to buy the original version!

When I first heard of Kudos, I thought of the sims- but kudos is so different and so much more. You start off as a single, 20 year old, dead-end job with not very meaningful relationships. Your job is to climb up the career ladder (medicine is the easiest and highest paying), cultivate strong relationships (it takes a while to get the hang of it and for a long time I only had two strong friends) and earn kudos points. You earn them by meeting new people, having positive outings and being seen in the ‘right’ places. You can order a cleaning service, learn kung-fu (recommended for those after work robbers), buy a cat, up your IQ and unwind in a bath tub. There are so many avenues to explore- the music/sound really makes you click with your character.
4.5 stars because it’s hard to get off your feet but once you do- you’re hooked!
Fantastic game and I can’t wait for more!
