Stimulating thoughtful, May 08, 2008
by Jane from Ireland (Dublin, Ireland, Europe)
Try out this game and learn responsible life skills.
I recommend this Virtual Villagers to all ages, it’s fun, easy to learn, harder to master! Puzzles are easy at first later challenging. I started this game when I was free to take time due to illness and found it stimulating and thought provoking.
Happily after time there are still many hurdles to learn, puzzles to solve and it’s always thought provoking…
You don’t need an internet connection once downloaded so it’s great for all those times when the TV is boring ....
I am a mature professional and not usually taken by computer games, until this one.
Highly recommended!

Hours of Fun, Apr 26, 2008

At first this seems like a slow and pain staking adventure. However, once you have started your tiny village to survive and thrive, you are hooked. The villagers seem to come alive and you are involved with their daily lives. You even form a strong bond with each character. Hours of fun and very additive. It is fun and exciting to see your tiny villagers grow and prosper with your help. It is very much like the SIMS but with more involvement and excitement along the way. It is a great game to download the free version as both kids and adults will become so involved, the only logical path is to purchase the full version.

Cool game you guys!!!!, Feb 15, 2008

This game is really cool and worth buying. You will not waste your money buying it so try out the trailer and if you like it buy it.What i liked the most is that the game goes on while your not in it so you can go away and come back and your people would have used their own minds and went on with research etc. It is on an island where you must research, find out new things and farm to stay alive. Your peolpe can die, but you can have babies too. It is awesome cause you never get bored. There is alot to research and find out about what the villagers can eat and what is dangerous. You must also educate them so that they can become docters etc. not to die of a sickness. This game is all out survival!!! Try it its cool..

This game is well thought out and focuses on the lifestyle of the villagers. Things like this game, being in a storm and having to rebuild your society, really happen inn real life and playing virtual villagers gives people within societies that having to rebuild your life isn’t going to be an obstacle learn about life in the other spectrum. I would suggest it to anyone who is curious about foreign societies and to those who likes the Sims because it actually is a lot like the Sims.

overall help, Jan 26, 2008
by Anna Cossy (Melbourne, VIC AUS)
While playing virtual villages all keep an eye out for special items. it is most helpful having 1 person collecting food one building a hut and two on research. this way you complete work quickly. if you have the one hr trial play for say ten minuets then check back later and you will have gained more skill and tech points. it is best not to have a baby until your adults have fairly good skills because they can inherit them. be patient and if you get bored or anything just stay calm. every 24 hrs or so a villages will find something important. it can make them switch bodies, gain tech points or something like that. if you go away for more then 24 hrs put your game on pause otherwise your villages could die. the game more personal. as your skills grow more things will become available and a boring game can become exciting and addictive. i am wanting to buy 3 virtual villages games 4 my friends but i am not allowed to until my parents see if it is suitable and will keep there attention!!!

Virtual Villagers 2, Jan 17, 2008
by Dalton King (Lakeland, FL USA)
Virtual Villagers is the most amazing game I ever played. I’m a person that usually doesn’t get attached to any games, but I got attacked to Virtual Villagers 2. I love how, in this game there are so many difficulties and how the some of the puzzles are so difficult to solve. The best thing about this game is that it runs in real time. When it runs in real time the villagers will still grow, improve at skills, die, and even breed and have babies when you are gone. Another great thing about this game is that even children play a big part in improving the village. They can collect mushrooms which gives more food to the villagers and the can collect things like butterflies, pebbles, shells, and beetles which will give you more tech points for duplicates and eben allow you to have villagers in your village. Over all between 1 and 10 I rate this game a 25.

Awesome simulation game., Jan 05, 2008
by Sara (Flint, MI USA)
This game has to be one of the best sim games. I liked the game overall alot. It takes a while to become a ‘master’ in some of the jobs on the island, but it’s worth it in the end. They bury their dead and are pretty civilized. The random events are fun and the results of what you pick could be good or bad. I think this game was awesome and I can’t wait for my mom to buy it for me. You’ll like this game if you like to be in charge. It is definitely worth it to play the free trial, or buy it.

Virtual Villagers !, Dec 25, 2007
by Faryal (East Brunswick, NJ USA)
Fun game! The only con i would ass is that the game is a little slow. Throughout the game, you get to see how it feels to have your own tribe on a private island which is very thrilling and exciting. This is a game that is worth downloading because it’s fun and you get to uncover secrets and help people create inventions and cetain types of technology. I would reccomend this game to everyone especially if they like games like the sims.

1 hour trial is enough to get you hooked!, Nov 03, 2007

The first time I played this game I was instantly addicted. One thing I enjoy about this game is that you can teach a villager to do something and they will do it on their own. I also like that the game will continue after you close the game and even after you turn your computer off. This feature will keep you coming back to find out what has happened while you were gone and how your villagers are doing.
I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes simulation games!

This game is very fun-filled, i love it. Its entertaining tasks and chain of events prevent you from boredom, its a thrill to unfold the mysteries of its contents. Both children and adults can enjoy this game because its fun for adults controlling another life other than their own, and it teaches children a little on how it is without your everyday amenities.

Virtual villagers is the best game on the internet!, Oct 27, 2007

This game rocks! I have been trying the trials and having to start over again and frankly it sucked…. but now I think I am going to buy it because the game lets you create your own village and control what your people do.. bottom line is I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! the trial’s free so might as well try it! Once you do you’ll be hooked on it! I am! Also Try Virtual Villagers 2 "the lost children!!"
If you try it you won’t be sorry..!!

GOOD GAME!, Sep 14, 2007
by cameron (Canada BC)
I like this game for its real time game play. The characters age and change while you are not playing it, making it all the more interesting and surprising when you log on again, never really knowing what your characters have been up to or if there are even still alive! You actually feel that they are real at times. Love this game, and it is great for all ages too!

Fairly Good!, Sep 12, 2007
by Amanda (Chicago, US)
This game is great for anyone who likes the Sims, SimCity, Civilization, Tycoon games or anything like that. Controlling a group of people is always fun after all! This one has the interesting ability to have the AI run constantly even when the game isn’t on, which is creepy now that I think about it… But knowing that your people have to rely on your ‘advice’ and direction when your not there honestly makes you try a bit harder to get it right to begin with.
I loved this game and plan on buying the full version in the future.

This is a great game. It’s challenging and has many good features to it. You can do a lot more than in the first one for instance you can have children pick up seashells and butterflies and stuff. While playing Virtual Villagers 2 you should always think about what you’re doing before you do it and always keep all of the villagers in mind because if you don’t you’ll run into trouble.
It is definitely worth paying for and it’s great for almost all ages because it’s fun and everyone will have a great time playing it.I know I had a lot of fun and so did the rest of my family so I hope you enjoy it the way I did.
