It's great!, Aug 24, 2008

It’s even better than virtual villagers: a new home! It’s so fun, I can’t stop playing on it. I feel like they are alive!

Virtual Villagers The Best!, Jul 26, 2008
by Kristina H. (Tulsa, OK USA)
This game is very interesting. It challenges you to make a working society among the villagers. you must have a scientist, a healer, a farmer and a builder to run greatly. I enjoy playing this game and never get tired of it or bored. If you are looking for a great time consuming game this is the one for you. However, I do not like how it functions in real time and usually takes a long time to complete a simple task. I think this is definitely a game worthy of downloading and is the perfect game for any age.

ATENTION "action" fanatics, Jul 14, 2008

If you love action and adventure type games then Virtual Villager is the game for you. It’s about a small group of people who get stranded on an island.
The have to all adapt to their surroundings and learn to do things needed to survive.
You have the choice of who learns what and who becomes great at what they do.
On the way you can find sea shells on the sea shore until you have collected the lot. And don’t forget the beautiful butterflies found all over the island.

Virtual Villager- A Journey Into Life, Jul 12, 2008
by Anish Gawande (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India)
Virtual Villagers - A Lost Home is amazing. Combining stratergic gameplay with fun filled activities, Virtual Villagers teaches you how it feels to be responsible for the actions and happiness of others. Its almost as if you are God and the world is the tiny village in this game. You feel happy when you are sucessful but really sad when you neglect your tribe for a few days and all your hard work is gone. It feels great to see your own people grow, work and play together in that little world that you have created for them and you feel happy that you played this great game. The graphics are amazing and as the title truly says it combines the Sims with villagers and brings out one of the finest gameplay. My villagers are extremely happy and I am proud of them. The game is great for both adults and children as it covers the social aspects such as reproduction as well as fun filled children who help in collecting items. Overall I would give this game 4 1/2 stars as it is a great game.

Virtual VIllagers get Five Stars!, Jul 11, 2008
by Zoey-Joy (Nashville, TN)
Virtual Villagers is a fun-filled survival game. It allows you to control your tribe and help them make the right decisions in order to survive on an island.
My favorite part about this game is that even when you’re not logged onto the game, the villagers are hard at work! It’s fascinating! They have different abilities and their own likes and dislikes. It is wondefully unique gameplay.
I’ve downloaded the free version multiple times because I simply love playing it, but sadly I don’t have a credit card to pay for the full version. I personally think that this game is spectacular, although a little overpriced, and I think 60 minutes of free play isn’t long enough to make a thorough decision on whether or not to buy it. However, downloading was a breeze because it doesn’t take up much memory on my computer. Definitely worth the ten minutes to install. No bugs, no lagging, no problems!
I would advise any gamer, no matter what the age, to download the game and give it a try!

virtual villagers , the amazing game!, Jul 06, 2008
by joshua cooke (england , chavey down)
This game is amazing in my own view. The different skills to train are enjoying and getting tech points to get more items unlocked. You can do healing , breeding , buildin , reserch and farming. You can grow children and raise your population , children can pick mushrooms and you can get some random discoveries. I would ensure you that this is a fun , trusting game. This doesn’t take much memory space at all and is worthy of a 5! star rating!

the "real-life" game, Jun 28, 2008
by Peter Li (Rockhampton, QLD, Australia)
this game features beautiful sound quality and graphics and hold lots of fun and surprise. One of the best things is that your people can live when you’re off the game. Also the most exciting and interesting parts in my opinion are the golden child and unlocking puzzles.
thanks for reading my review.

Virtual Villagers, Jun 08, 2008
by Emily Nelson (Hampden, ME USA)
This game is a wonderful simulation game. I loved the graphics and peaceful landscape of Isola, the island the Villagers inhabit. I like the mystery of the puzzles and the community feel that is built over time. I think this game could’ve been much more detailed, but I purchased Virtual Villagers 2 which is more detailed and also a pleasure to play. I became instantly addicted to this game and the real time play is great. I would download it all over again and continue to play although I’ve completed all the puzzles. It is definitely worth it’s price and is great for both kids and adults. I think this game could benefit kids because they can learn about community and strategy problem solving skills. Adults can genuinely enjoy the story behind the series of Virtual Villagers, and it’s just plain fun. Anyone that enjoys the sims or similiar games would definitely love it. I reccomend it to anyone.

very fun game, May 19, 2008
by jeff (Royal Oak, MI USA)
this game is about trying to learn how to survive in the wilderness bassicly. it allows you to make villagers learn how to build, farm, heal, and many other professions. you can also make new villagers by breeding. there are also many puzzles to solve on the island. some puzzles require certain technologys though so you might need to get to a certain skill before you can complete a certain puzzle. but all in all this is a very fun and addictive game. it will make u want to play and play for hours on end! so if i were u i would buy the full version and go crazy with unlimited time to play!

Stimulating thoughtful, May 08, 2008
by Jane from Ireland (Dublin, Ireland, Europe)
Try out this game and learn responsible life skills.
I recommend this Virtual Villagers to all ages, it’s fun, easy to learn, harder to master! Puzzles are easy at first later challenging. I started this game when I was free to take time due to illness and found it stimulating and thought provoking.
Happily after time there are still many hurdles to learn, puzzles to solve and it’s always thought provoking…
You don’t need an internet connection once downloaded so it’s great for all those times when the TV is boring ....
I am a mature professional and not usually taken by computer games, until this one.
Highly recommended!

Hours of Fun, Apr 26, 2008
by Christopher Devinn (Providence, RI USA)
At first this seems like a slow and pain staking adventure. However, once you have started your tiny village to survive and thrive, you are hooked. The villagers seem to come alive and you are involved with their daily lives. You even form a strong bond with each character. Hours of fun and very additive. It is fun and exciting to see your tiny villagers grow and prosper with your help. It is very much like the SIMS but with more involvement and excitement along the way. It is a great game to download the free version as both kids and adults will become so involved, the only logical path is to purchase the full version.

Cool game you guys!!!!, Feb 15, 2008
by Adolf (Worcester, South Africa)
This game is really cool and worth buying. You will not waste your money buying it so try out the trailer and if you like it buy it.What i liked the most is that the game goes on while your not in it so you can go away and come back and your people would have used their own minds and went on with research etc. It is on an island where you must research, find out new things and farm to stay alive. Your peolpe can die, but you can have babies too. It is awesome cause you never get bored. There is alot to research and find out about what the villagers can eat and what is dangerous. You must also educate them so that they can become docters etc. not to die of a sickness. This game is all out survival!!! Try it its cool..

playing, Feb 15, 2008
by Rachael (Seattle, WA)
This game is well thought out and focuses on the lifestyle of the villagers. Things like this game, being in a storm and having to rebuild your society, really happen inn real life and playing virtual villagers gives people within societies that having to rebuild your life isn’t going to be an obstacle learn about life in the other spectrum. I would suggest it to anyone who is curious about foreign societies and to those who likes the Sims because it actually is a lot like the Sims.

overall help, Jan 26, 2008
by Anna Cossy (Melbourne, VIC AUS)
While playing virtual villages all keep an eye out for special items. it is most helpful having 1 person collecting food one building a hut and two on research. this way you complete work quickly. if you have the one hr trial play for say ten minuets then check back later and you will have gained more skill and tech points. it is best not to have a baby until your adults have fairly good skills because they can inherit them. be patient and if you get bored or anything just stay calm. every 24 hrs or so a villages will find something important. it can make them switch bodies, gain tech points or something like that. if you go away for more then 24 hrs put your game on pause otherwise your villages could die. the game more personal. as your skills grow more things will become available and a boring game can become exciting and addictive. i am wanting to buy 3 virtual villages games 4 my friends but i am not allowed to until my parents see if it is suitable and will keep there attention!!!

Virtual Villagers 2, Jan 17, 2008
by Dalton King (Lakeland, FL USA)
Virtual Villagers is the most amazing game I ever played. I’m a person that usually doesn’t get attached to any games, but I got attacked to Virtual Villagers 2. I love how, in this game there are so many difficulties and how the some of the puzzles are so difficult to solve. The best thing about this game is that it runs in real time. When it runs in real time the villagers will still grow, improve at skills, die, and even breed and have babies when you are gone. Another great thing about this game is that even children play a big part in improving the village. They can collect mushrooms which gives more food to the villagers and the can collect things like butterflies, pebbles, shells, and beetles which will give you more tech points for duplicates and eben allow you to have villagers in your village. Over all between 1 and 10 I rate this game a 25.

Awesome simulation game., Jan 05, 2008
by Sara (Flint, MI USA)
This game has to be one of the best sim games. I liked the game overall alot. It takes a while to become a ‘master’ in some of the jobs on the island, but it’s worth it in the end. They bury their dead and are pretty civilized. The random events are fun and the results of what you pick could be good or bad. I think this game was awesome and I can’t wait for my mom to buy it for me. You’ll like this game if you like to be in charge. It is definitely worth it to play the free trial, or buy it.
