I think this game is an excellent way to get kids and adults to want to type.  It is a fun way to learn and a great way to brush up typing skills.  Once you start you don’t want to stop.  It is well worth the download and is worth the money for the full version especially if you have anyone struggling with typing.  Very fun!!!

I am a paralegal student and typer shark has helped me so much in increasing my typing speed.  I play it all the time just for the fun of it.  It’s hard to imagine that I am learning more about something that is boring otherwise.  Typer shark takes the boringness out of learning to type and makes the minutes fly by.

I am a Keyboarding teacher and my students love the program.  Typer Shark is not only fun, but my students typing speed has dramatically increased.  It is challenging even for my fastest typers, but also encourages those who are not so fast.  The game is so addicting, the students don’t want to leave.  Young and old will love this program!

I started playing this game, thinking that with the normal setting made for people that type 30 wpm would actually be this setting. In reality, even though I was averaging 80 wpm per level, I was still not able to go fast enough for the sharks, meaning the difficulty settings need to be refined. Also, the game seemed to have a glitch, as everytime I reached the bottom of level 18, it would get stuck, and I would not be able to finish the game. I would recomment finding a better, different typing game to play.
