Great-Return of a Classic!, May 28, 2010
by Jeff (Seattle, WA USA)
The original Bubble Bobble was a hugely popular arcade game back in the day, and is still fueled by several spin-offs of the franchise. Bubble Bobble Nostalgie is a faithful recreation of this classic. Starting the game, I enjoyed seeing the memorable first level, as the little dragon trapped his enemies in bubbles. I instantly noticed that the graphics had been updated to a much higher resolution from the original, and it was a nice change. With colorful backgrounds and sprites, the graphics had been outfitted only slightly enough to appease the modern gamer, while retaining the style that captured the hearts of many. The gameplay stood fairly accurate to the original, although the dragons seemed to move a bit sluggish. The game contained over 200 levels, with additional level packs available. The audio sound effects complement the updated graphics, and the music as well, albeit not accurate to the original.
Overview: Bubble Bobble Nostalgie is a great remake of the Bubble Bobble series and fun arcade gameplay for both young and old.

I think that this game is small and that is why it’s score very small.

I love this game. It is fairly easy to play, very stimulating, all you have to do is trap your enemies in a bubble. It is very entertaining.

Ok so I play this at Spur all the time and then I am SO sad when we have to go home. And now I get to play it right here on my PC.It Rocks. This game is fun filled and appropriate for all ages. I really enjoyed playing. It was like I was actually one of the little dragons, blowing bubbles at the enemy. There was nothing this game was missing, and I found nothing I disliked. It was really worth the download although it is a little on the expensive side. I really have never felt this way about another game. It was like being the dragon and trapping the enemy in a way I have never experienced before. I think this a real 5 Star game. Also it is not on many other websites so this is GREAT. I really don’t understand why other websites don’t include this kind of game.Anyway please publish more games like this one because I REALLY REALLY REALLY loved this game.My brother can’t get me off the computer if I sit down in front of it. Thank you for bringing the best game ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bubble Love, Jun 25, 2007

When I was young I loved playing with bubbles especially with Emily my next door neighbour but she died from some disease a few months ago.
Now I can re-live the moments with this charming and adorable game! And whenever I play it I think about Emily (:
Not the best graphics a bit tacky but it’s non-violent and most kids will love and cherish it forever!Adults might think it’s not worth buying but I think it’s really cool. The full version price is unreasonable because the game is not the best quality and may bore people.Too childish for many people. But I still love it!
