Fair-Breakout in Three Dimensions, Aug 30, 2010
by Jeff (Seattle, WA USA)
Ballistik takes the classic Breakout! fundamentals and adds a new layer of depth to them. Unique powerups and colorful levels really make the gameplay interesting. It plays just like an ordinary arkanoid game, except for the fact that the bricks span multiple layers, and drop when hit. When compared to games like Smash Frenzy 3, it falls short however. The graphics are colorful and the level design is intuitive; each level is something different. The sound is so-so; just your standard music tracks and sound effects. Still, it’s a good game, and it will hold your attention for a short while, just enough to keep things going.
Overview: On it’s own, Ballistik is a good arkanoid/breakout game, but it lacks the brilliance to stand out when compared to some others.

this game is really fun [and unlike the other games in this section it doesnt get boring]
heres how i rate it .
/graphics\ not bad [psx quality] 7/10
/sound\ not great [but not annoying] 5/10
/gameplay\ unlike most ball breaking games this game does not have a arkanoid view [witch makes this game fell compleatly differnt]
all the levels are diffent and fun [and not as repetative as most ball breaking games]
the wepons and powerups are a nice addiction .
so gameplay gets 9/10
/final thoughts\ its the best ball breaking game ive played [and ive played allot]
/final score\ 8/10 [or 4 stars]

Awesome Family Game, Nov 23, 2007

This game is so much fun. My sons and I love to compete and see who can get the highest level. Just beware of the small ball and super fast signs when you get to higher levels. And of course the cross bones and skull which means you die. This is a game that I don’t mind my children playing that isn’t a shoot ‘em up and violent game like so many others out there. Get it!!
