Fairway Solitaire - very entertaining, never boring, Feb 13, 2010

Up front, I have had this game for almost 3 years and still love and play it often!
At first it struck me odd, the golf court and the irons, what’s that got to do with solitaire, and it took me about a week till I figured out what the irons are for (because I never like to read instructions, ((blush)) - so to save you the trouble, irons can be used as cards you need to place so you can move on.  Meaning if you need a card value 4 to place, you can pick an iron no. 4 (if you have an iron with that number)
So those ‘jokers’ (irons) and some useful specials (like x-ray glasses, you can buy in the shop, to see the next card in the deck) will help you along to clear the board. Also slightly different then other solitaire games is that at every level you have to fulfill a task, like to finish the course very fast, or high rated or lots of perfect scores to get to the next level. Some levels get quite challenging and maybe you’ll be stuck on some levels for a while when you play Fairway Solitaire for the first time. But that’s part of the fun, right? Its easy enough to get into and hard enough to not get bored and keep you interested. The tasks you have to meet, the challenges with the ‘wild cards’ and the improvements you can buy in the shop really add a nice twist to the regular concept of a Solitaire game. It’s an all around well done game, with a long and fun playing time guarantee. Hope this helps you along to get the most out of the one hour free trail, so you can see all the features and help you to decide weather you like the game enough to also buy it. - I have no regrets with this game :)

This was a little too complicated to master during a 60-minute trial. But it was free and I thank you for that. I’m sure others will like it more than I did.

I think that by far this is one of the best solitaire games out there! I almost cried when my free trial was up and couldn’t get to my credit card fast enough! There are TONS of levels and just enough story not to interrupt the game play.
My son, tho not old enough to play this yet, loved watching Mommy conquer level after level!
