i love this game its really a great game if you like WWII stuff but if you like shooter games id recomend playing combat arms its very addictin and more than 50,000 people play it mut H&D is one of the best third person shooter games ive played. hope you like it and try combat arms also!! :)

H&D is an amazingly good game for freeware. It plays like a quality shooter with mostly open-ended environments and increasingly interesting weapons. It almost has a role-playing feel to it because of the character and equipment choices as well as a general sense of freedom in the missions.
Excellent game. You couldn’t ask for much more from a shooter. Oh, and it plays flawlessly on my mini-laptop. Magnificent!

I would recommend this game to adults who are World War 2 buffs. One thing I did not like is how low the player’s health is. I also do not like how you can be shot through solid objects and how the enemies have no recoil or reload time. While playing it, I noticed I had no lag, considering I have a low/medium end graphics card. I feel like it’s OK because it is very addictive and has a sense of realism. Overall, it was decent and is worth the time to download and install.

H&D is an incredible game, yes some people say there are glitches like fall a few metres and die but you know about it once you do it and doesn’t really take anything away from the game. I used to have this game and play it on Dreamcast, it’s fun to complete, especially certain missions where you have to use stealth. There is also a sniper mode where you can snipe enemies from a fair distance away. Incredible weapons and music too. You can blow up enemy tanks. One of my favorite missions in the game involves open field sniping where there’s at least 50-70 enemies to kill, try to stay alive if you can. Get this game now!

Hidden and Dangerous is a great freeware fps/3rd person shooter but with a few minor problems. You command a 4-man squad of SAS members in WWII. But beware, these men are no action heroes. Jump off a one meter ledge and he’ll break his neck. Jump in a two-feet deep river and he’ll drown. One good thing about it is that any vehicles found in this game can be driven, providing they have gas. But watchout for bushes, shrubs, or rocks; they prove a great hazard for even a mighty tiger tank… Another problem with this game is the voice acting: a character will just look at you and out of nowhere will come a group of mumbled words; his mouth won’t move an inch. Apart from the fact there is no compelling story-line, Hidden & Dangerous is a great tactical fps/3rd person shooter, even though the gameplay can seem kind of slow and the action isn’t really as intense as what you would find in such games as Call of duty, this is as good as what you would expect from any freeware game.

As some of you may know this game was originally developed as a commercial game several years ago. This in itself should tell you something of its detail. The game is is set in World War II and is centered on the exploits of an SAS team and although the graphics are slightly dated the game is nevertheless an incredible mixture of stealth, action and strategy.

Have you ever wondered how to command a squad to eliminate enemies? well, now you can with this game, you can command a squad to win, and you get to view and use real life weapons. i thought there were some minor flaws in this game, and the only flaw is that the graphics weren’t at there best, but it’s still decent graphics for this game, because everything else is perfect, from the commanding to the weapons.

I own this game on SEGA Dreamcast.  Very imemrsive sound-track and okay graphics.  You can play it through several times because it’s different with different teams.  It’s very addictive because you don’t just fly through each mission right away.  You have to figure out how to defeat the enemy in real time, usually while you’re hiding.  That’s what makes it so heart-pounding.  Although the game is from the mid 1990s, it’s still one of the good-ol’ classics.

Hidden and dangerous is an action game that is very addicting. This game is fun to play but the graphics are not the best. They are okay. The game is a strategy and action game put together. You can go in first or third person views. The game is long with about 20 missions for the people who like the long games. The difficulty of the game is moderate because you can be killed in one shot or twenty. It just depends where you are shot. The concept of switching commandos during gameplay by clicking tab is nice because you can have covering fire and so on. This game is not recommended for people who get frustrated easily because you can spend half hour on one mission just getting your guys into position. It is also nice because you can swap weapons with people and take items and other articles of dead soldiers. (One exception is their uniform) You only get a uniform on this spy mission. Overall I have to say that this game is okay and fun to play if you have some time.
