i just heard this game at the alley, i just asked them what is liero? they said it can be downloaded.When i tried to play this game,im really,really impressed about this game.Well it got some errors when i played it but i solved.I can compare this game to worms.

Liero X, It is a worms based game where you kill enemies. Its in 2D but apart from that it is pretty good. Download it. It is a very flexible game and there are hundreds of mods, levels and skins out there. I have been playing it for about a year and still can’t get enough of it. It is great fun to play. There is a lot of blood in this game but fortunately, there is an option to increase or decrease it. Good things:
1.Lots of options.
2.A very large community.
3.Lots of skins and mods with the game.
Bad things:
1.Rare crashes sometimes if your using certain maps or mods.
Overall, a pretty good game.

good things: you may think by the bad graphics this is a bad game but don’t let it fool you. when i started playing liero extreme it seemed like a quick die easy arcade game but when i started play i didn’t care that it had bad graphics and was 2d it was great!
  it feels like it has an infinite amount of weapons and levels. i still haven’t plyed them all. another thing is that the game is multiplayer so grab a friend and start blastin.

  bad things: this game is very fast paced. people without a quick reaction time miht ntbe god at this game. so keep practicing.

"A fast-paced worms-style game. Like quake meets worms."

Well, Liero. Most of us have played Worms, right? And wished that it could be real-time (both players play at the same time). Well here it is. Two worms battle it out, deathmatch style in a winner-takes all affair. You get to choose 5 weapons of 40 avaliable, and take them into battle. You can dig through dirt, use a ninja rope that is standard issue (in other words, you dont have to pick it as a weapon) and of course, you get to shoot. It is also highly addictive, so dont be surprised if its folder slowly takes over your hard drive. You will be downloading add ons and editors all night.

There is a CPU available for playing, but it is controlled at random. You can play all kinds of different styles of play, like Kill em all, Game of tag, Capture the flag, and simple CTF. Capture the flag is best played with a human player, because the CPU is quite stupid.

The strategy involved in the games is again, a mix of quake and worms. You need to have quick reflexes, a steady trigger finger, and a quick mind to plan how to get at your opponent safley. Shooting wildly will not get you anywhere. Setting mines in strategic locations will.

The game is fairly editable from the main game (loading times, blood, etc), and many utilities have been made to edit nearly everything that you can! Now there are Total Conversions, mods, levels, weapons, etc popping up everywhere.

The games is a DOS game, with poor graphics. Dont let that stop you though. The gameplay is unreal. Dont have something important to do when you start playing Liero, because you will never get it done for ages. Liero will take hours away from you.

The weapons are original, ranging from Shotgun to Gauss gun. The sounds are very good, with nice shotgun, rifle, and even death sounds. The game has a nice front-end and it has a nice, bloody feel. Also, there are a few sequels being developed, and they will have internet support, so you can kill your friends in other countries! You will like it if you liked worms, and you will also be good at it. Liero is a small (aproximatly 400K) game, so you should go ahead and try it!
