18 wheels of steel is the best game i ever played. It is so fun i cant stop playing, the graphics are great. Being able to drive a big rig in the comfort of your own home is great. It’s like the real thing.

If you don’t purchase a better engine at the start of the game, it is impossible to pass 50 mph. So, get some cash, and buy a new engine stat (better brakes will help against those pesky bears*).

Pros: The game has very good control once you get used to them; The 40+ rigs add more posibilities for an enjoyable gaming experience; The vast amount of cargo ranges from chickens to silos, cars to bio-waste and is very imersive; gas prices are realistic, so you don’t spend a fortune filling up your tank; The addition of Mexico is (I feel anyway) better 18 WoS Haulin’ because it now includes all of North America

Cons: The Police are everywhere, and pull you over for anything and everything (acept sleeping on the side of the highway?), Even if you are driving better than some of the AI cars, you are pulled over for off duty violations; the gas prices are realistic. (they’re too high

Final Words: 18 WoS American Long Haul is a highly immersive, very customizable trucking game. With 40+ rigs, 44-ish cities, and tons of cargo, this game is very realistic. The only magor flaw I feel is over-sensitive cops.

When I first started playing the Eighteen Wheels of steel truck games I feel in love with them ever since. I’am a big fan of SCS games such as bus drivers and eighteen wheels of steel. This game is very relaxing and fun. I recommend it to all.

this game of 18 wheels of steel is a fair game. it’s pros include it has good graphics,sounds realistic and threre are a lot of trucks so you can upgrade your truck. cons include the game takes too long to end and it is hard to obey all traffic rules. unfortanatly, I would not recommend this game to a friend.

This is a really great game five stars! But one thing i really don’t like is that you cant get the truck going over 50 mp/h on the highway. that was the only downside. But besides that, it is really worth playing and i wouldn’t care if the price was $50 i still think it would be worth it. It was also cool how you had to actually back up the trailer, and attach it, and how you could have your own company. It was defiantly worth the time to install. It would be better for 12 and over because younger kids may not understand it and older people may find it boring. But be warned: you need a lot of time on your hands to play this, cause it is a long game.

I think I like this game however, I am curious as to know why I can’t get my truck to go over about 50 mph even on the highway?  This is only on the demo but i don’t really know if I wanna buy it because it seems fun but I wanna be able to at least keep up with traffic…

This game is really awesome and I appreciate the graphic quality of this game.  But one true thing I cant hide, the game developers may be fools…they should have made the game aggressive by including racing. They could make it more realistic.  It would have been the best game ever in the world then.

Its REALLY boring to stick with those laws in this game.

I find the game is a lot like “Bus Driver”. They are both really fun because it gives you ideas for what you want to be when you grow up. I find the game is cool because it’s not always the same exact car that passes you every time. The graphics are also very good. It’s fun because you have to stop to rest, get gas and fix up your truck. You also need to follow the laws of the road. It’s fun because if your playing with a friend you can pick a single delivery and take turns. My friend has 18 wheels of steel Haulin and I really liked it so he showed me where to download it. The good and bad thing is that you only get 1 hour of time to play so it’s not a lot but in an other way you can’t spend the whole day in front of a computer screen. I find it is worth it to download it because they let you try out the game before you buy it. You wouldn’t want to buy the worst game in the world not knowing it. It’s fun because you can drive all over the U.S. in one hour and even a bit in Canada.

This game is good because you can actually drive real semis and it gives you a realistic truck driving experience with real traffic, real intersections with working traffic lights, and real traffic accidents (don’t get in any accidents with a semi in real life!), and police cars are active in this game and even the a.i. cars have accidents with each other. Plus you can pull 38 different kinds of cargo in the game, the trailers pulled 15 different trucks. If your a first time driver, you will love this game!

I am a fan of fsx and Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm so I thought that maybe I should try this game. So I did and it is well worth the $ 20.00. The game starts you with either 50,000 20,000 or 10,000 and paying off a loan so with option 3 it is a challange to get started but once you get going it is hard to stop playing the game. The graphics in some aspects rival fsx. Also I would recomend you get a USB raceing wheel to play if you plan to play for long times it gets tiring holding on arrow keys for long periods of time.
