A True Great, Mar 26, 2008
by Michael Dempsey (Carlisle, PA USA)
This, in my opinion, is one of the most entertaining low graphic games ever made for the computer. With engaging and entertaining gameplay, hot-seat multiplayer options, and entertaining mixtures of campaigns and scenarios this is possible the best game in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. this is possible an endless amount of entertainment as one strives to achieve the massive army or boars or a hoard of black dragons without using the cheat codes.

Perhaps "The Greatest Game Of All Time", Jan 11, 2008
by Hunter (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
The fact that I’m writing a review out of pure nostalgia about this game over a decade after I first fell in love with it, should be indication enough that it can be considered one of the greatest possible returns on a twenty dollar investment. I can’t say enough positive things about this game.
This second Heroes game, even more addictive than the first - and a surprisingly significant step up - offers its players a great number of campaigns from a great number of legendary character angles, from a variety of world myths and civilizations! Wield the power of Wizards. Call from the graves as a Necromancer. Feel the metal of men, and the rumbling of their numbers approaching. Thrash with brutish Barbarians. More! Call spells. Uncover puzzles to find ultimate artifacts! Establish your dominion. Conquer another man’s! Live the life of a hero!
Experience more than the ambition of the classic game of Risk, along with the beautiful world of Might and Magic! It’s truly ageless!

I found this game to be a very addicting game. The first time I played this, I didn’t bother to read the instruction. The game is a lot funner if you know how to play. Now I can’t stop playing this game. Also, check out the newer versions of this game, I haven’t tried them but they look pretty cool.

Addictively Charming, Oct 03, 2007

Heroes of Might and Magic is definately a strong series, but honestly in the case of this installment, it’s got to be my favorite. Heroes 2 Gold is artisitcally charming, generally addictive, and definately one of the best build-and-fight, cast-and-conquer games out there. With a variety of events and artifacts, and quite a fantastic amount of wit and challenge to it, Heroes 2 Gold is worth taking a step back for.

heroes of might and magic II gold, Oct 01, 2007
by Mark J. Lopez (Sacramento, CA)
this game will never get old. At the outset of each stage of the campaign mode allows for the choice of either wizard, sorcerer, or knight and then what seems to be and endless amount of choices for your heroes who you control during the actual playing of the stage which have different strength attributes and choice of direction you choose to go on a huge map and what you do on this map which differs from finding artifacts or mines or enemy heroes that you battle for experience points and sometimes rewarded with artifacts that enhance your heroes powers with all these choices your gameplay will never result in the same game being played twice so save regularly and play it again and again with a different result this game is for all ages of gamer and is a must have for your collection

The Perfect Game - HOMM 2 gold edition, Sep 28, 2007
by boniface greege (Australia)
Good games are rare to find, but this game is hard to walk away from! Heroes of might and magic 1 was fun, Heroes of might and magic 1 gold was cool, Heroes of might and magic 2 was great, but Heroes of might and magic 2 gold is just amazing! it is a great strategic game with great graphics and creatures beyond your wildest imaginations. This game is not only thoughtful, but is a great classic for many people around the world, for instants - me! It is a magnificent game that is hard to come across now, but it’s right here - up for grabs. The Magic and Power involved in this game is fascinating and creativly thought about thoroughly and perfected to create a fantastic strategy game that is perfect for the average human.

Best computer game in the 20th century, Might and Magic 2, Aug 14, 2007
by Sam K. (Newark, OH USA)
I really couldn’t believe this game was made last century. The graphics are truly amazing for the time period and the story has the essence of a newer game. This game is also one of the few that you can really play with your friends at the same computer. Another amazing aspect is it is truly a good rpg in a time when good rpgs were few and far between. Besides the main story there are hundreds of quick play maps with storylines of there own. There are also six different types of characters you can be as wizard, knight, necromancer, barbarian, sorceress, and warlord. Each with six different types of troops some of which can have upgrades. In conclusion one word could completely describe this game: awesome.

Best Game Ever!, Jul 09, 2007
by Lauren (Philadelphia, PA USA)
This the best game ever! It’s so fun to play by yourself or with friends! And there is so many maps too! You can even make your own map! I love how there is so many types of heroes, each one being unique with it’s skills, armies, and castles. Right here, I’m probably supposed to right what is bad. But there is nothing bad about this game! It’s very addicting too, I go on all the time. My friends like it too! They want me to show them how to download it. The thing I like about this game the most is that both girls and guys like it! You’d think that girls would never like a game with monsters and war stuff but we do! There is so much to say about this game but I can’t fit it all, so THE END!

Great Game!, Jun 07, 2007
by Andy (Olathe, KS USA)
Heroes of might and magic two contains many new Creatures, leaders, Buildings and maps. i would reccomend it to anyone who like strategy/war games. Its somewhat challenging to begin playing the game but as soon as you get the hang of it Heroes of might and magic 2 is one of the best mythical war games you’ll ever play!

The Game of War, Apr 14, 2007
by Brandi Johnson (Rex, GA USA)
This game to me a an excellent lesson on War and choosing sides. I experienced what it is like to win and lose at the same time. I lost some wars and some men along the way, but I gained some as well. I liked it when you received new fighters like centaurs and eagles. I did not like the way they only let you use certain spells even though it was a fair play. The game was fun and wish I could have played it longer because I was really into it. It took a long time to install and download but I think it was worth it because it was such a fun game even though it was only 60 minutes. The full version is worth it because most games don’t come with certain things this comes with. This comes with 25 bonus maps and everything. This game, I think is great for kids because it can help them have something to do after a long day. Adults might enjoy this game because it deals with fighting and both adults and kids like to play those games. I have never played a game quite like this, but it is great.

A great classic!!!!, Mar 12, 2007
by Dr. G (La Paz, Bolivia)
This is a great turn based strategy game, graphics are neat, and funny cartoon like looking characters. Will give you hours of fun, and requires a lot of strategic thinking, not just building massive troops but also knowing how and when to use them, and immobilizing them.
Great game, worth the download time, and the cost of full version
