When I first got Stranded 2, I was a little wary of fpa’s, so i wasn’t that keen… BUT after about 2 minutes i was hooked. So many things to do! I recommend stranded to anyone, anywhere regardless of age.

Wow this game keeps you on your toes, makes you laugh and at the end of a long day at work I look forward to going to my Island! I love adventure games and this by far takes the cake for free games. I would pay 19.99 for this game! But I am glad it was free! Easy start, easy directions, and you learn as you go. Great to keep you on your feet and exercise your brain!

I own an xbox 360 and am use to those games, this game is challenging.. Yes its cartoonish but what the heck, ITS FREE, It runs and installs just fine.  Don’t let the whole Searching for things get you all screwed up. The DIARY which is in the C for “what you are “CARRYING” is a good tool to help you move on and get and produce more life sustaining “STUFF”. I am 41 and I think this is a good game for my age and all ages, though you have to kill things, Turtles,Crabs and Monkeys by basically hitting them.  You can fish and collect fruit also. It is not graphic but you still are able to kill.. hence your stranded. Good game, give it a shot.  Making fire can only be done after you build a hut,so don’t get mad. From the hut you can do anything.  If you hold down the Left mouse button you can cut trees and rock, this was a little hard to get due to the poor symbols used but other than that, it is good.. Have fun, Russ.

This game is probably one of the best games about being lost on a deserted island.

This game is good for everyone because it has some real life things that can help in the real world.

For example it can teach you how to survive in real life situations

It taught me that you can get water from leaves by rubbing a rock on them.

The whole game is free, even the mods, so I recommended this game for everyone.

Great game. Even when you take a long break playing other games you will always come back! It’s moddable and very easy to do so. You can go to more and more challenging maps by changing the map options on the random map genorater, and then you can make your own maps! If you’ve conquerd every difficulty, then search on the www.unrealsoftware.de fourms for mods. I have made the "Mkvcs" mod, and it includes over a hundred new items! This is kid friendly too, so you can play it with your family. It’s very easy to learn how to play, but it takes a long time learning ‘how’ to play, keeping you hooked for years. Well, some people may say the graphics are bad, but the way the are is the way it’s meant to be- cartoon like. So, never played- Check it out!

Anyone who is a fan of "Survival Kids" or "Lost in Blue" will love this game, assuming graphics aren’t at your top reason for playing a game. But where it lacks in graphics and animation, it makes up nicely in gameplay. From night time to day time, to hunting on land to diving in the ocean, there’s plenty of places to explore. And considering it’s freeware, and a small download at that, you can’t go wrong. I had downloaded this, not expecting much from a 13MB download (approx 25MB extracted), but it’s been hours and I only took a break from it to grab a bite to eat and to write this review. Only reason I didn’t give this game a 5 is it would be nice to see some better graphics and animations, a real installer, and perhaps a tutorial. Others may find the lack of game play music or more sound effects a downfall too, which it could be improved, but it didn’t impare my experience. I actually like no music in this type of game. Bottom line, if you like survival games, you’ll like Stranded 2

As freeware goes, this game is EASILY the best I’ve seen. It’s very engaging and has excellent graphics. It’s the classic deserted island game, a lot like Robinson Crusoe. The adventure is very good, with all kinds of weapons and animals. You can take many different roles - farmer, gatherer, or hunter. It’s very realistic (you can set fire to the whole forest) and has many great effects - rain and time of day. You also have skills which you train to further yourself. It requires you to take risks and be ambitous. Its only downside is that there’s not much to do after you beat the game (but it still takes 5-6 hours!)

If this game was $20, I’d still buy it. Its download time is great (only 5 minutes.)

Excellent game overall. Even better that it’s freeware.

It’s amazing what you can get for free these days. Stranded 2 has offered me something I never knew I’ve wanted so I do recommend it to people regardless of the genre they prefer. This game is a cross between the classic game, Rapid River from the early 1980’s and the movie Cast Away (2000) starring Tom Hanks. This first person game consists of investigating the island, foraging for food and collecting materials to make weapons, tools and shelter. There is a lot of problem solving by searching for and matching up different items to create more complex ones and I recommend reading the forums for the game for hints as it is easy to get stuck and frustrated at times. The graphics are rich and the sound effects are absorbing. It was worth the short download and installation time as my first experience with the game lasted a genuine 5-6 hours. Few retail games can hold me for that long!

This games is so cool I already played it my cousin’s and found it so cool! When you play it’s like you are actually on the island. It keeps so busy for around three hours!!! I really liked the graphics and as it said it was really detailed. Enjoyed to the max!!! The game is really easy once you read the insructions if you do not you will die in like one or two minutes. I had to wait around half an hour for it to download!! that was the worst part of the whole gaming experience, but it was really worth waiting for. Next time try making it compatible with slow computers. The only thing I found not very good was the horrible back ache you get from playing for three to seven hours and the bright colors I could not see very well and even my computer could not adjust it well enough. The game was fun and thank you dowload-free-games.com for letting me download it for free. Please read my complaints and try to make the game just good for everybody trying to download it. It is the best game!!!

This game is fantastic! i stumbled across it by mistake but i have been addicted ever since . it is so enjoyable not only can it be amusing but it also helps stimulate the mind in the form of quests.
