by Jazmyne (Natchez, MS USA)
This games is one of the best simulation games to play. I, my self, pefrer to play Kudos Rock Ledgend on a day at the house. The graphics of the games is just outstanding. The way they have your band to watch other bands perform to learn new ideas for your songs,is something i enjoy. If i could i wound give this game all the stars in the world. This game is great in many ways!

In this game, you start out as a wannabe rocker with a bit of cash, then you have to hold rehearsals for band members and make sure they get along alright. Over time you get more money so you can buy more instruments, get new gigs, and make new songs. The song creator is really fun once you get used to it and eventually you get to be a superstar!

Great game! You start out as nothing and rise up to a mega stars. You sign contract, hand out and post banners. Rehearse and practice to get better. Overall fun game and I was mad when the download ended.

Kudos: Rock Star starts out a little slow, but it gets really exciting! I was so happy when my band played its first gig. You get to earn money, and you have to make real decisions like you would if you were in a real band. Definitely worth it!!!!!!!

GREAT GAME!!!!, Jun 28, 2008

Kudos Rock Legend is an amazing game. It might be hard getting used
to things and starting your band, but it is a very fun game. It gave me
the chance to live out my dream on a computer game. You start out as a
singer with some money and you have to hold auditions for your band.
You can get a drummer, a guitarist, a bass player, a keyboard player,
and a saxophone player. You can get various places to practice from a
garage to a recording studio. You also have to keep your band relaxed,
happy, and stress free. You can get many places to play at too. You can
go to the shop and buy new instruments for your band, rides to your
concerts, or merchandise to give out to your fans. Once again, this is an
amazing game and you should definitely try it.

I felt that this game was quite good compared to the original and I was upset when the trial period ran out. The minigames were a great touch and made it more exciting. I liked it but some parts seemed rather predictable.

A slight improvement, Mar 10, 2008
by Eve (Chicago, IL USA)
...over the original Kudos, much more interactive and customizable and less repetitive. The songwriting mini-game is actually challenging and clever, though I can’t say the same for the band practice mini-game (ever played Simon?)
I still would not buy it, however, as nothing in the demo indicated that leveling and improvement in-game wouldn’t be the same slog as in the original. Like Kudos, Rock Legend seems to be about efficiency more than creativity: maximize your meters in the game time provided to "win." The only challenge is in balancing the divaesque demands of your obnoxious bandmates with your own agenda for stardom. Yawn. Dull in-game music, minimal avatar options and ho-hum graphics don’t help.
If the demo promised less predictable, more challenging gameplay and perhaps an improvement on the same two cliched Top 40 tracks and vacant-looking avatars, I’d certainly buy it. I played all the way through the original Kudos in hopes of some surprise, but I won’t do it again.

Kudos Rock Legend is based just like the original Kudos.Only with a little twist, you have to go on a path in becoming a rock star. You choose the players, how you rehearse, where you play, and more. You start as nothing but a small local band and start up the ranks to become famous. Buy from different stuff from inspiriting music to a full staff. I think this game was great so I gave it 5 stars, this game is mostly for people that like simulation games or if they liked the original Kudos.

This game is like Kudos but, this time as trying to be successful in life instead you are trying to become a rock star. You can Manage your own band, create it, choose the players, and let it grow for fame. If a beginner it might be a little complicating. After a while you will get the hang of it. I got it after 5 min. The game is about the same concept as Kudos. I think it was a great game, if you like simulation games then this a game for you.

Kudos Rock Legends is a completely amazing and addicting game. I was playing it for 30 minutes and said to myself "I need to buy this game".
Kudos Rock Legends is an awesome game for the whole family, your parents, your brother/sister and even your grand parents!
The Graphics-5/5! The graphics of this game will completely blow your mind. Especially if u buy an "effect" from the catalogue such as a small pyro. You will actually see the flames on the stage when you perform somewhere.
Fun rating- The fun rating is definetly got to be 5/5. I was hooked on it straight away.
Overview- An absolute brilliant game, wayyy better than the original Kudos. A definite 5/5 Overall.

When I tried Kudos is didn’t really know what to expect, but as soon as i played it i knew i was pleasantly surprised. The depth and detail is amazing, constructing a band, writing songs, performing gigs, buying useful and useless equipment and merchendise and even performing at charity events and more. I recommend this game 100%, this is by far the best simulation game I have ever played and you should definitely try it, you don’t know what your missing out on.

Awesome!, Jan 07, 2008
by Nicka S. (Oklahoma City, OK)
This game is perfect for those looking to branch out skills in music. It also adds the experience of expenses that it takes to run a band that may hit it big or just stay local. All in all, great game. Again, great for those trying to see what it would be like to have a band that travels, books tons of huge gigs. Reality check for many, great inspiration for others.

I really like this game and how you can grow as an artist. It is a little repetitive, but it is still a great game. I definitely recommend trying it out.
