Why scrabble so important to all of all ages., Jun 16, 2011
by charie (Saudi Arabia)
Scrabble will sharpen the intellectual capacity of a person, broaden her vocabularies and somehow will also familiarize with correct spelling of words. if constantly played you will learn a lot, challenging and fun playing this game. Qualities of a good player will also be developed like sportsmanship and being fair and calm while playing, most of all it can be played by any age, any gender.Very very important to have this game. For me this is the most helpful and beneficial game because it is not just simply playing for entertainment/enjoyment but also we will be gaining a lot of positive traits especially knowledge by learning new words.

Scrabble: BRAIN WORK, Oct 22, 2010
by Kathleen L. (OK USA)
I found a trial version of Scrabble on my son’s laptop, after I bought it from him. I like playing brain challenging games far better than watching TV, etc. I’ve played Scrabble all my life in the board form and still have my (very) old game, but can’t always find a willing (or serious) opponent. The PC version allowed me to play at my own pace and by myself although I used the trial minutes up in no time. I am buying full versions for my home computer and my laptop—beats predictable TV and gives my brain a workout!!

I considered myself to be a very good scrabble player simply because I won game after game with friends and relatives. Ths is the best scrabble game online which I have played. I really had to be on the ball the whole time. The look of the game board is really impressive and the words are not the run of the mill types. You increase your levels and then when you get to the top level it becomes so difficult that my brain used to go into brain freeze. I really believe this is the best word games which has ever been invented.

the best scrabble game that I had ever played, Apr 22, 2010
by Ananta (Surabaya,INDONESIA)
I was disappointed to know that this scrabble game had been discontinued. Actually I plan to buy full version. There is no other scrabble games like this, it is very helpful with hint,The word can be corrected if it is not listing in the dictionary, it is very enjoyable to play with beautiful screen on computer, etc. Unfortunately the only I have right now is the trial games in which can be resumed every 5 minutes, but I can still enjoy to play with it.

SCRABBLE SAVES THE WORLD!, Aug 31, 2009
by Dawnie Grey (Napa, CA)
Scrabble has been instrumental in not only developing my vocabulary, spelling, communication and strategy but in strengthening my personal relationships and effectively raising myself to a higher standard that makes me feel proud. I began seriously playing Scrabble when I discovered people at a popular coffee house having the best time and witnessing the intensity and personal investment so many had in this family board game. Sure, I played growing up, out camping, with family and friends. But, once I got handed a sheet with all the two and three letter words my whole concept of this game changed radically. I became engrossed and enthralled with the real dynamics of this awesome game and thought how they could be used as a tool, a new way for everyone to vastly improve not only our language and memories, but how we connect and relate to one another. With the power of words, the deliberate way we use them and manifest our lives by them, Scrabble teaches us a wonderfully diverse way to metaphorically and literally use our vocabulary, the very language, basic words that can easily put us at odds or in the same corner, to interact and engage with everyone in our lives by using the concept behind the game. To state simply and straightforwardly what you want to say, how you want to be understood and how to most effectively engross yourself with others. Communication can be easy and have the capacity to change worlds, personal relationships, the very lives we share with people of all ages and nationalities, from every aspect of society across the board. This in itself is such a powerful understanding. Any person wishing to express themselves more effectively or to understand others in equal measure should learn this game and add it’s principles to their everyday living. It makes me feel smarter, more compassionate and aware of how I really communicate with others. Like a miracle cure for teenagers and parents, a conduit for diverse political or religious backgrounds and a game you can set up anywhere anytime and instantly be “in the moment”. This is the greatest game ever invented and we should ALL learn to play together…in peace. Find your JOY again in SCRABBLE, it can save the world!

Wow! it's the one we are looking for., Aug 31, 2009

pros: Gone are the days when playing scrabble on PC was a video game experience. Here’s a game which is as real as playing the real game.
The game’s awesome, the graphics mind blowing. Game play is totally addictive. The in-built dictionary is great. Nobody can tell what’s going to be next and any other thing in the game is what a gamer needs for his time to pass. Absolutely giving $19.99 is worth it. The game’s got more than that. It’s speechless
cons: nothing.

Scrabble is entertainment and test in one, Aug 10, 2009
by Kogi Singh (Durban, South Africa)
I have been playing scrabble on my computer for at least two years, having bought the game on-line. (Unfortunately, when my system was attacked by a virus, I lost my favorite evening pastime!)
It’s a mind-boggling, intense match of skills, from which I’ve learned new words I did not know existed - though I was a lecturer in English. As a 70 year old, I find that Scrabble keeps my wits in excellent working order and my brain ticking overtime. When I last played, a week ago, I had beaten VETERAN by 4 games - we played about 160 in all.
It’s a favorite with my grandchildren, though they cheat by using the help offered!
My 14 year old granddaughter has beaten me fair and square 3 times. Scrabble is an excellent game of planning and strategy.

This game not only strengthens ones vocabulary, but the option of playing it against differently ranked opponents and in different modes, apart from the classic mode, just make it a must have game for sure.
