Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is an action packed strategy game with all the excitement of real war without joining the military.  It does almost everything anybody could want to do in the military and nobody (except your eyes if you play too long) will get hurt in the real world. I suggest getting this game to everybody.

From the functionality of being able to make your own maps, to the ease of play, this is my favorite game.  A wide arsenal of weapons to choose from, and a variety of game modes, makes playing DFBHD anything but dull or repetitive. The maps are huge and the terrains are awesome. All in all, a well rounded and fun game for all ages.

I love this game. I used to play a ton of Source… now I play this. Once in a while we have LAN parties and play this game… the maps are HUGE… I snipe from over 1,000 Meters/Yards away.

It’s just like you’re back in 1993 in Somalia fighting off militia like militia with rpg`s trying to shoot your helicopter down and the weapons are so real. Soon as the free trial is over, you would want to buy it. So play the game.

This game is about the best in pc warfare. I have been to Iraq and this game makes me feel like I have been in the mist of the Somalian war.  I really like the graphics and how the missions are set up is just superb.

This game is the best first person shooter I have ever seen on the computer (and I’ve got a lot of games). I had so much fun playing it because unlike a lot of games it was very quick and had excellent graphics. The weapons and scenery were so realistic that I found myself imagining that I was in the game myself. There is nothing else I can say. Just download the free version and see the true awesomness of the game! I would recommend the game for adult use as it does contain a high level of violence.

I never thought I could be hooked with computer games. At first I just watched my husband and brother strive to conquer the Somalian militia and they had a difficult time doing it. lol! When they reached the “Shattered Palace” they couldn’t seem to finish the game much less make a safe landing on top of the building. So I asked them to let me give it a try. And God what a game! I created my own player info and started from the very beginning. It was so good that I skipped meals and slept late. Man I did it! I killed Aidid before my husband and my brother did. The game really gives you a feeling of being actually there as part of a team fighting for your life and for your country.The sound, the graphics, the terrains, they really seem so realistic.Now i suppose I could have been a great fighter. Thanks for the people who created this game. I recommend it to all the girls out there. We can do it too!!!

Most of the novalogic games have been made for pure leisure and for the excitement of a single or multiplayer 3-d battle. Until the sad and historic loss of the black hawks and their brave and heroic crews that were shot down over a hostile city. Novalogic took the kind liberty of creating a game about the experiences and dedication it took to save the remaining black hawk crew and destroy the helicopters so the enemies couldn’t have them either. Honestly I never owned the game when it came out. A friend introduced it to me and he let me borrow it. When I got home I thought it was another one of those boring stealth games where you carry only a pistol and a knife that have usually tons of boring missions where you see nothing because it is so dark. But I decided to try the game and it blew me away! Not only the graphics but the story line and most importantly it didn’t lag down my computer unlike the other games. I never got that far in the game because i had to return it but after i begged my dad to take me to the store all they had was delta force land warrior which is also a really good game. But my experiences with the game were better than great and beyond excellent. I like how the weapons they used in past games have been improved and used in this game because it surly made the experience better. If you or a friend are thinking about getting black hawk down or any other game made by novalogic i am 100% behind you. It is totally worth the time it takes to download or install and it is worth the price. This is a comment to all the parents, if your child does not think or believe that war fare has its turns and surprises, allow him to play this game for him or her just to imagine what it was like running through a town of hostile enemies that are hiding in window’s setting up traps trying to kill you when they know you have a family to return to but they don’t want you to. Believe me if you watched the movie you’ll know what i am talking about. And finally, I do believe it is good for kids 10+ at least for a little educational experience with the game and for adults too. The game was wonderful and I cant wait til novalogic makes another one like it.
