Played the game on a demo and was very pleased with it. very addicting. very realistic when it comes to farming. absolutely worth downloading the game. wasnt very pleased with the stump pulling level, but other than that, its an excellent game. farm equipment in the game closely resembles the actual JD equipment, and the graphics are outstanding. fun for everyone.

I have been looking for a game like this for a long time. This game shows how farming really is. Not the click on the field and it magically happens; but actually drive the tractor around the field. At the same time this game does have a few downfalls. One is they need animals to take care of and two they need to make the payment real. like you don’t get payed to mow your own field. But overall the game is really good. I’d recommend this game to a farming enthusiast.

This game is very non conventional.  It is kind of hard to explain…  Having lived on a farm for 20+ years, and used various pieces of equipment over that time, this provides a very close & enjoyable rendition of the actual real equivalent.  It is well made software and even runs on my netbook which I found hard to understand, because the graphics and framerate are perfectly fine.  Really, I highly commend whoever implemented a fresh idea like this onto the computer scene.  Top Marks from me.

This is a good game for anyone to play, all ages. The jobs you can do are realistic. Another good thing is that you can buy your own equipment and drive it around. The best part is that you can play this anytime and you can save it and play it later. I wish i could play this game all the time. I like playing this game better than all the others that i have.

I bought this game on CD at Walmart. It was highly entertaining for like, oh, 3 hours or so. By that time I had completed all 15 of the jobs that are available, and went on to “tend” my own farm.

At this point it started to become boring. On your farm, there are NO Deere bucks to spot. You can get those “proficiency” bucks you get for driving like a maniac.”

Realism? You can’t even get a tire for a real tractor for what they charge for the biggest baddest tractor in the JD lineup in this game!

Yes the graphics are good. No, the keyboard setup isn’t good. You have NO option to configure your own keys, or to use the “arrow” keys to control the vehicle.

I saw a review somewhere that said you could choose between modes such as skill or freestyle, but if so they forgot to include them in my CD.

As for the “fossils” I have spent mindless hours “driving” around on the gator, but still only found 25 of them. I guess the other 6 are out there but I’m not sure I’ll bother looking for them.

Was it worth the money I paid at Walmart ($10 USD)? Yes. Is it worth the $20 they charge for it on most game sites? Not unless those games include something the CD didn’t.

John Deere Drive Green is a good game for all ages. It contains good graphics and 3D efffects. I liked the game because I like computers and tractors.. what I didn’t like is the amount of trial time because it is only 60 minutes and i thought it could have been a bit longer. But all up I liked everything about the game and I will be sure to get the full version of the game as it is fun to do on a wet day when your cooped up inside and have nothing else to do.

I think Drive Green is the best game I have ever played.  I love to play games and use real John Deere machines.  I disliked the fact that it froze every 90 seconds.  It was by far worth downloading and it was worth buying.  I think this game is for kids and adults.  I think this game is better than the games American builder and American Farmer.

Yea this games was awesome. It can be useful fort students in what they are doing in agriculture and what precautions have to taken in agriculture.  Really interesting!
