This game is full of strategy & action put together. There are a nice amount of options. Risk 2 is a gigantic step from risk. You just can’t beat this game in strategy. It has some extras that are nice.

this game is great if you are interested in board games! I downloaded it and bought the trial in a second. I played it and then I ran to the store and bought the real board game. I love this game!!!

Some Helpful Information, Aug 08, 2007
by Hayden Kearns (Hokitika, New Zealand)
I reckon that the game is very very good. I enjoy the strategy that’s involved in playing the game to conquer the world. Even though I don’t own it my friend’s do however and any chance to play it I take it. here’s a hint look for the continent which is mostly yours and then try to take over it. Also if you want to beat Wellington have five computer oponents playing and then you have a better chance. I did this and bet Wellington. my favourite thing about it is "same time" when you do this it becomes even more fun. Try playing tournament it is very fun because you can’t choose the settings and Generals. I think this game is suitable for both kids and adults. It is indeed worth buying.

To conquer the World is not that simple, Aug 04, 2007
by Carlos Mario Flamenco (Santa Tecla, El Salvador, Central America)
This game is very addictive every time you play it. One of my personal strategies to conquer the world is to find an ally, i mean, someone weak who can not destroy my army but easy to be destroyed so that i can conquer his territories and win the cards. I prefer to conquer Australia because it is difficult for others to enter my territory. I love this game and i have it on board also, so that me and my family, we play every single weekends. Remember to conquer all the territories as soon as possible but…"To conquer the World is not that simple"

Decent Game., Aug 01, 2007
by Jol (Boston, MA USA)
Good game, but not that good, the general flow of the game is rather slow, the graphics are not the best, but for a game made seven years ago, it’s not bad.
I recommend The other Risk game, better flow and better graphics, the entire build of the game is better, the interface and instructions.
But without comparing, Risk II is a pretty good game.

The Best, the Butt Kicking, Risk 2 !!!!1!, Jul 23, 2007

Risk 2 has a whole new load of game features as well as modifications to the map. you can add new areas to conquer as well as take away areas. You can also select how much of the world is to be conquered and change how many reinforcements each continent gives you when conquered. The graphics are amazing in the game and the battle scenes are pretty sweet. I played this with my friends every day for about four hours and it never got old. People would nag us on about letting them play. I had so much fun dominating the world on the computer. It was fun seeing each battle.

risk 2, Jul 20, 2007

As soon as I downloaded this game I could not stop playing. my 10 year old and 8 year old daughters have become venerable adversaries, with only a little strategic coaching.
tournament play is amazing. Just try to dominate over 7 experienced, unpredictable relentless generals. This game blows away the board version.

BETTER THAN ALL THE REST, Jul 20, 2007

RISK II has made the game of global domination more fun, exciting and easy to use than any other. The advanced graphics and fast play allows you to enjoy multiple games at a fraction of the time. This classic style risk with a new look is great for all ages. If you have two spare minutes, do your self a favor and download the full version today. You wont regret it!

I LOVE THIS!!, Jul 19, 2007
by JAson (Parker, CO USA)
I have always loved the game of RISK since I was 7 or so & played my first game of RISK. Now, I can play on my computer, and not have to worry about finding others that are willing to take a few hours out of their day to play it with me. THAT is AWESOME. I also love how everything is set up. Makes it easy to learn how to get around the game. But I do not like that it always gives you the tips on every turn, but I cannot figure out how to turn that off :( .

No players, No problem!!!!, Jul 15, 2007
by Joy (USA)
This game is amazing!!!! You don’t have to set it up, or need other players. Click a few buttons and you are playing. Great zoom-in battles, bring out the graphics. The roll of the dice will tell you if you can conquer a country or not. Amazing!!! Put your board game back in the closet and try the free trial. Little space is needed. This is a game you wont be able to stop playing!!!

Risk 2 quality, Jul 08, 2007
by John Micheals (Greensboro, NC)
This game is alot of fun because of the action oriented gameplay system and the ease of use. The world domination style allows the gamer to see the far-reaching consequences of battles as the tides shift. I would recommend this game as a quality title.

Excellent Brain excersice game, Jun 29, 2007
by Alok (Abu Dhabi,UAE)
If you are looking for good exercise for your brain go for Risk2.
Its good game to enhance your skill in formulation of strategy.
It would help in testing our decision making skill under stress as well as test the response speed of your brain.

It's faster than the board game!, Jun 19, 2007
by Garrett Seilheimer (Phoenix, AZ USA)
In the game Risk2,it’s a lot faster than having to set up the board game and playing it. Also, it’s a lot cheaper than it is a the store. I personally loved this game and you should buy this game. If you played this game before but not on the computer, and you decide that you will try, you will find out that it’s so much better than the actual board game.

The Best Risk Game, Jun 18, 2007
by Blake Binkley (Reno, NV USA)
I’m going to tell you the truth. I’ve only played 30 min. out of the free trial version, but I do own the board game and the difference is unbelievable!! There is more territories (including Hawaii, New Zealand, Falkland Islands, and more). You can view the game as the regular map or view it from space as a globe. You can also watch the men shooting in the battles. Because of all this, the game is extremely fun, especially compared to the board game. I believe it is a reasonable price for such a great game and worth every second of waiting for it to download.
All together, it is the best risk game I’ve played (even if I only played it for 30 min.)

Brief overview, Jun 05, 2007
by Roman (Twin Falls, ID USA)
Risk 2 is an advanced and extremely fun version of the board game. It has many features like same time game which you issue a series of orders and your forces carry them out. There are also various viewing methods such as a globe rather than a map or areas of high risk of invasion. If you liked the original game you’ll love this game.

Fun, Challenging, Frustrating, Jun 04, 2007
by Scott (Rockford, IL)
I always enjoyed the board game and the PC version is pretty good. Watch out in the later rounds of the tournament. You may end up investing time only to find yourself defeated by awarding the game to a computer player who did not complete the posted mission. For example, in level 13, the posted mission was to capture and hold N. America and Africa, however, the game awarded the win to a computer player for killing another computer player ending the tournament. Anyway, Fun, Challenging, Frustrating.
