43211 Pretty good!, Apr 22, 2008

by Julian (Sydney, NSW Australia)

Risk II is a nice, easy, and simple game. It’s reasonably tactical and challenging. On the other hand, it takes too long for it to become your turn (6 players). It’s really fun otherwise! :-)

Risk 2 is a great strategic game by your mission is to conquer the whole world. You can select up to 8 players to battle and there are many maps modes to compete on.risk 2 has really improved from risk 1 there are a lot more modes and they have made it 3d. you can challenge other people that have the game through online. i seriously advise you to have a risk and try it because its brilliant.

43211 Risk II, Mar 22, 2008

by Ben Sykes

Im sure, like me, you all have played the famous board game "Risk". Now, this new version is out!
Quality graphics, different versions of play, and; you can now play on your own as well. Great for kids when they need something to do and for you on long train journeys; trust me i’ve gotten through a delayed train journey before!

Every one likes a good game of risk Right? Well if so then I Highly recommend this game, The game Shows the battles going on so you can understand how you lost a 50 on 6 invasion. The fact that the battles are even shown is awesome. This game has all the characteristics of the board game and first computer version plus more. Another added bonus is the fact it is age appropriate so that everyone can play adults children even grandparents would enjoy this game. All and all this game deserves 5 out of 5. Finnaly I recommend a strategy, the strategy is to start by conquering Australia than capturing Siam and building an army there for 10 to 20 turns then finnaly taking Asia with sufficient men to protect from Alaska,Ukraine, and Egypt.

Risk 2 is a great strategic game by you aim to conquer the whole world. You have up to 8 players in this great game and there are many game modes for risk. Risk 2 is better than the first risk by there are many new modes on the game, new views on the map and you can see the global view. This game can be played on the internet with many other people that have the game I would advise you should try the game and see if you like it.

54321 Simply Awesome, Feb 25, 2008

by Jon Bojanowski (Oakville, CT)

If you liked the Risk board game, then Risk 2 for PC is a must have. No hassle of setting up or needing other players. Actually seeing the armies battle never gets old. The same-time mode adds a whole new dimension to risk, giving you new ways of strategizing. I always play with the added territories strategically located for my favorite possible experience. Plain and simple, this Risk is no doubt the best.

54321 It's really the best game you'll buy for $20., Feb 22, 2008

by Darrel Hinton (Junction City, KS)

Okay, I really thought that I was going to be disappointed when I bought the game. I was so wrong. This is probably the best game you can buy for $20, bar none. For a Risk game, the graphics are great but the real power of the game doesn’t lie in the graphics but in the gameplay itself. You go against cut-throat, ruthless opponents who will do anything (including making a deal with you and then stabbing you in the back when your defenses are down) to win the game. The AI is simply incredible and it may actually take a couple dozen tries to win. I don’t want to spoil all the rest of the cool things you can do, so i’ll just say this: Indulge in this game and never let it go. It’s one of the best you can buy, and that’s serious. Hope this review helped.

43211 One of the best conversions of table games ever, Feb 16, 2008

by Yonatan Kra (Modiin, Israel)

If you know Risk from stormy nights when you and your friends struggled to conquer the world, or just want to know this great game - this is the best way to do it.
No dealing with cards, or small army pieces - just click and play. You set the rules, scenarios etc. and the game’s engine does it all for you.
There’s a campaign mode, multi player and some more surprises that would make you addicted in no time…
A warm recommendation!

54321 No risk in playing Risk 2, Feb 07, 2008

by Srikrishna Mohan (Chennai, India)

One of the best games I have played. Amazing graphics and a great sense of anticipation and thrill involved in the process. Let me tell you that you will have a great time playing this. The sounds and other real life like effects are too good. Very gripping. A lil bit of luck involved too, but to a large percentage its a game that involves lot of strategical decision making. What’s more, you can play this game online, form allies during the war, even betray your allies for the cause of universal conquest. Go right ahead and check it out folks….....Enjoy!!!!!!

After playing many board games for many years i never thought we could have a better game than RISK. I have played different versions of RISK on the board and never thought about the fact that RISK 2 on the computer could be a better experience. Its absolutely awesome. Its not just about war. It gives you the challenge to prove your intelligence with different phases like Tournament, you V/s computer AI. you really have to play to know what i mean. I would say if that you the like the rush of Negotiation, Luck, betrayal, Alliance, Survival and Strategy then Check this out. Well done "The makers of this Game" Bravo.
"Can We also have Risk 3 - Maybe with some Marine units" Cheers

54321 Great Game, Jan 19, 2008

by Marmelo (Brazil)

I love RiskII It’s a Flip from board to PC. It has stunning battle techniques and picture. Theres no bothering setup/cleanup involved. It’s got great new options and graphics. I liked playing it because it had awesome pictures and details. I also enjoyed friends or computer enemies. The extra options are useful for if you get bored of normal play. Only if I had the full version…..

43211 Awesome Game, Jan 07, 2008

by Matt Lee (Houston, TX USA)

I’ve been a fan of the board game for over 10 years, so I was a bit worried when I bought this game thinking it might be too easy. I couldn’t have been more mistaken. This game can be as challenging as you would like to make it. The tournament mode is my favorite mode of this game, you have to play a wide different varieties of risk to win in tournament mode, but if you like the classical risk you can still play that too. I really have no complaints about this game, I play it all the time.

54321 I love the game, Jan 04, 2008

by EC (USA)

This is a pretty good version of RISK, I dont play against people that often in the board game, but now I can practice up with a challenging computer AI for when I do get to play against my friends. Sure this is only the standard RISK, but the game is still good and worth it.
