Well, right off the bat I knew it was going to be a great game because it was risk! great graphics, and game play is awsome!
~*~LIKES~*~
I loved how it showed the men fighting, that was a great feature, also how you could make alliances, that helped me alot ;) I liked the different views as well, and the globe was pretty cool.  The three different types of games were AMAZING! I liked Clasic the best though.  Also, the way you could choose colors and names was just another great feature.  The voices were pretty sweet, and the instructions were well layed out (even though I didn’t really need them).

GREAT GAME! I recomend for ages 5+ or 4 or 3 or 2. hey, whenever you learn how to use a computer, thats when you should play it ;)

Risk has long been my favorite game. I like the concept and competition. From graphics and feel this game is quite good; worthy of the original board game but there are some real draw backs and missed opportunities.

1 - Other PC versions of the game offer you many different maps to keep you interested, even additional facilities and options.

2 - The ability to automate the dice rolling; it is so tedious if you are a person more interested in the game play rather than the minutia of the original. Make it quicker.

3 - ooooooo sooooooooooo slooooooooow. With a dual core processor and still i wait for ‘things to happen’

4 - Smart Army placing rather than click, click, click . . . .

Yet, all said and done, possibly when version 3 come out, this may be a good game if the author focuses on making the game play quick, easy and customizable first and then the graphic gratification.

  For anyone not familiar with Risk, it is a strategy board game in which you try to take over the world. The rules are fairly simple to learn, and the strategy is unique per person. Beware that you don’t spread your forces out too thin. This version is the best I’ve ever played short of the one for PS2. I enjoy the amount of customization allowed in the game, and the ability to play against other players keeps it from getting stale against the computer A.I. It might go over the head of those too young, but a 10 year-old could grasp the game.

This game is very easy to play and easy on newbies.  There are useful tutorials and gameplay is simply amazing.  Fans of risk, here is the best you can get.  There are a number of AI so I never got tired of the same strategies.  I was also impressed with the amount of options there were compared to some other risk games I have played.  This game is entertaining although frustrating at times.  It takes a while to download, but it is much more than worth it.  I did not like, however the amount of people you could fortify (tactical move).  Otherwise, an outstanding game with outstanding music.

risk 2 takes you into a world where great empires
try to take over the worlds the world.The game is fun but i recommend playing the actual board game.but for people who are lazy….like me that don’t want to set up a board this is the game for you if you like turn based strategy’s that is.
i almost don’t like how long it takes to take a turn.but overall it is a fun game to pass the time.

Risk 2 is a great war strategy game. Take charge and lead your troops into battle in order to conquer the world. In order to conquer the world you must deploy your troops among your own territories. With the use of dice the battles can go either way no matter how many men you are outnumbered by. Whether you are outnumbered by 2 to 1 or even 5 to 1, the dice allow any outcome to be possible. Whether you play it online with your friends or just a solo game against the CPU, taking over the world is always fun. For those gamers who love to use strategy and tactics, Risk 2 will provide all your tactical gaming fun. With your real world map battles you can be fighting from the snowy weather in Europe to the outback of Australia. No matter how you choose to play this game, you can guarantee that you will always have fun.

Loved the board game of this for years and always said that is could be made in to computer game, now it has.  really easy to play helped that I knew the rules before hand.  Didn’t like only being able to redeploy once but this just added to the challenge of the game.  Will recommend to all my friends to buy full version, well worth the price.

Risk II is a nice, easy, and simple game. It’s reasonably tactical and challenging. On the other hand, it takes too long for it to become your turn (6 players). It’s really fun otherwise! :-)

Risk 2 is a great strategic game by your mission is to conquer the whole world. You can select up to 8 players to battle and there are many maps modes to compete on.risk 2 has really improved from risk 1 there are a lot more modes and they have made it 3d. you can challenge other people that have the game through online. i seriously advise you to have a risk and try it because its brilliant.

Every one likes a good game of risk Right? Well if so then I Highly recommend this game, The game Shows the battles going on so you can understand how you lost a 50 on 6 invasion. The fact that the battles are even shown is awesome. This game has all the characteristics of the board game and first computer version plus more. Another added bonus is the fact it is age appropriate so that everyone can play adults children even grandparents would enjoy this game. All and all this game deserves 5 out of 5. Finnaly I recommend a strategy, the strategy is to start by conquering Australia than capturing Siam and building an army there for 10 to 20 turns then finnaly taking Asia with sufficient men to protect from Alaska,Ukraine,and Egypt.

Risk 2 is better than the first risk by there are many new modes on the game, new views on the map and you can see the global view. If you liked the Risk board game, then Risk 2 for PC is a must have. No hassle of setting up or needing other players. Actually seeing the armies battle never gets old. The same-time mode adds a whole new dimension to risk, giving you new ways of strategizing. I always play with the added territories strategically located for my favorite possible experience. Plain and simple, this Risk is no doubt the best.

Okay, I really thought that I was going to be disappointed when I bought the game. I was so wrong. This is probably the best game you can buy for $20, bar none. For a Risk game, the graphics are great but the real power of the game doesn’t lie in the graphics but in the gameplay itself. You go against cut-throat, ruthless opponents who will do anything (including making a deal with you and then stabbing you in the back when your defenses are down) to win the game. The AI is simply incredible and it may actually take a couple dozen tries to win. I don’t want to spoil all the rest of the cool things you can do, so i’ll just say this: Indulge in this game and never let it go. It’s one of the best you can buy, and that’s serious. Hope this review helped.
