I was alittle mislead about this game from previous reviews and the gameplay trailer…This game seems to be ALOT different from the original. Graphics, sound, and even the story!
Im still playing it, it’s not bad…But still not the nostolgic adventure i wanted to play!

This has got to be the coolest old game that I know of.  I find it very interactive.  I grew up with it and have only recently found it again thanks to this site.  There is a fantastic story line, not too hard quests, a great family game, one to play over and over, great colours.  It is also enjoyed by kids of all ages. What can I say, I just love it! Check it out for yourselves, and if you are anything like me you’ll just fall in love :)

To revisit the game that really started the gaming industry, in updated and modern video is wonderful.  Keep it up for the whole series!

Kings Quest was a huge adventure series back in the early days of computer gaming. While I have revisited many of the Kings Quest episodes, the extremely poor graphic and sound quality of the first game held me back (think occasional sounds that scare you more than provide background and objects made out of a few pixels). Despite all that, KQI was a GREAT game and I am so glad to see and play it in a more universally accepted fomat. Now, with very well drawn scenery and animation, this game is even better than it was before, and Im glad to see it in a form that doesn’t require installing a confusing program on my computer to slow my processor down. All in all, an amazing, polished effort… Now time for that comany to take on KQII!

it is refreshing to play something that is simple, fun, and just downright entertaining in the AD&D sense of the word. These days gaming just isnt about the Role Playing anymore, its too convuluted with complicated worlds and systems that stray from the purity of classic midieval Role Playing. Kings Quest is a breath of fresh inspiration, old as it is, for classical gamers like myself
