Obviously made by one of the RPG maker programs, Ahriman’s Prophecy is lots of fun. It has a problem solving element to it, and partner that with a fast paced mythical adventure, and you’ve got a recipe for a fantastic Role Playing Game!
The graphics are bright and clean, and the music is fresh and fitting.
This game is free, which means there is no reason why you shouldn’t be downloading it RIGHT NOW!!!

Ahriman's Prophecy - a great RPG, Oct 06, 2009

So, I’m browsing the freeware section because I’m too cheap to look at anything else, and I find a couple games, one of which was this one. I downloaded all of them, and this one was the only one that lasted longer than 10 minutes. I started playing and wasn’t quite sure how to attack and all that, so I died twice really quickly. But I figured it out, and the game was suddenly very good. Despite the lack of detailed instructions, I followed the game through to completion, and actually ran several different files for a while to get all the quests I missed the first time around. Most of the plot is fairly subtle, not annoyingly obvious like most RPG’s, and the only problem I have with the combat system is you aren’t told what enemies’ healths are. It was also annoying that you had to train for a while in the easy places to last in the later levels, I would rather the enemies scale with you as you explore farther and not have such large jumps in level. Also, the fact that I completed several of the later quests well before I was supposed to means either the later levels are too easy to get into towards the beginning, or I’m really good at dodging bad guys. There were several bugs I found, like spaces in the floor that didn’t exist or plot events that leave you trapped in a confined space with no way to get out, but most of them were minor and the rest of the game was good. While the graphics were not stunning they were above average, and overall it was a wonderful game. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent playing it, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone who likes good RPG’s.

This is most definitely an awesome game in respect to the old rpg classics. It’s not turn based like most, but still satisfying in the acquisition of goods for your guys and an in depth story. I suggest reading the guide about marrying before you go wandering around. I’m on to the next installment in this series: Aveyond.

Everyone should try this game! The game was challenging but easy to understand. I liked that you had alot of different weapons and armor to choose from. The creatures looked like real creatures.

My brother downloaded this game for me quite awhile ago but i still play it now and im 22!i got aveond 1 & 2 and for my birthday he bought the FULL version for me! i recently completed gaea fallen and i am really looking forward to finishing aramins prohpcy [ for all you fans out there im up too the love charm]  i LOVE these games!! trustme when i say there 10/10!

I really enjoyed Ahriman’s Prophecy,it tells the story of a beautiful girl called Talia lives in a small village who has to learn in the Academy in Thais with her friend Devin,she is a sorcerer and he is a sword singer,and after three years they become stronger and the King is proud of them,but suddenly hear that the Princess is kidnapped by the evil mage Lord Zorom who wants to marry the princess and they offer to rescue her,and when they do the girl Talia goes back home to dream a strange dream and being summoned to the Dreamland and told that she has to fight a demon called Ahriman,and when she tells Devin he comes with her and then they begin their journey to find the death power,and when they get it they get the other powers and go to the Mystery Far and summons Gaia which can defeat Ahriman and Lord Zorom and they do it!They defeat them!And Talia is half a fairy.

Amanda Fae,the game creator,has done a great job with it,the music,the maps,everything is awesome!I love this game!

I really enjoyed playing Ahriman’s Prophecy.  The game had pretty decent graphics, the story line was believable and there was a lot more to the game then the normal heroine quest.  The number of side quests was huge… I don’t even know if I got to them all.  It’s a game that intend to play again.  Who know’s maybe I ‘ll find something new to do that I didn’t know before.

An excellent strategy game with an amazing storyline,Ahriman’s prophecy has it all.
Talia,a potential magic wielder,is a daughter of a human father n a fairy mother[u realise dis,n the secret of her powers at the very end of the game] has set out to stop Ahriman,the lord of all evil,who once ruled the world.But,he was dead!!killed by the sun priests!!! how did he rise from the dead??? Join Talia as she fights her way to stop Ahriman’s prohecy and defeat those that raised him. The story itself is very engaging.u will love it.

An excellent strategy game.Kill monsters,gain experience,reach higher levels with increased atk,def.upgrade weapons n armor. Will u help people or just concentrate on ur mission?  will u make talia a priestess or an enchater? or a dragon lord? or a witch!!? which weapon will u choose? Single handed spike sword or 2-handed thor,with double hit?? or fire against water? And on top of all this,ITS FREE.so go ahead people.do play the best freeware RPG of all time

I had loved playing all the zelda games and this reminds me of those ole favorites, I like to figure the quests out and this one has quests outside the quests, as in the zelda games you have to get powered up with experience and solving the quests and buying better weapons and armor, if you like this kind of thinking, then this game is for you,  enjoy!!!!

This is one of the best games i’ve ever played. I’ve played all the final fantasies and this ranks up there with them. The fact that you can choose what your main character is going to be is a great feature and the story and levels are also amazing. Great game, i highly recommend it to anyone who likes rpgs.
