Warlords Battlecry 3 Fantastic, Nov 01, 2010
by Nikolas (Serbia)
Well, I instaled the game 6 years ago, and I still have it on my computer. This game allow the player to make a huge armies and create his own hero. For example I made my hero to level 900 and he was very powerfull.Campagin is quite interesting and missions are so awesome when you play first time.Skirmish mode and multyplayer give you more fun when you complete the campagin. But my favore option in game is editor mode, where you can make your own maps and missions, play them on skirmish or play together with frends on multyplayer.Music is good and belong to ambient of game, main theme is great.Ofcourse as any other game, WBC3 has a bad side.Graphic is not so perfect and looks old, and my personal opinion is that WBC2 and WBC had a better graphic.Al is predictible, units just run into battle when see opponent and when you play a while like me, game is to short and small, and all is same so you can become bored. But in general look, game is great and very interesting, can be played by people all ages and when you play it you have a couple of hours of fun per day.

Warlords Battlecry 3, May 26, 2010
by Dan McGrew (Saint Matthews, SC)
I began playing the RPG Warlords Battlecry. I have five children (4 girls & 1 boy). So, I built a small home network of 7 computers. I bought and installed WBC onto all of them. Next, I began teaching all of my children how to play it on thier computers, in thier rooms. Shortly thereafter, after a hard days work homeschooling, playing softball, basketball, in the snow (depending upon the weather), and driving lessons we could all unwind and kill each other off in a nice refreshing game of WBC. We played for years. Then WBC3 appeared on the scene. It was wonderfull, we all loved it. THe graphics and sounds were very engaging. WBC & WBC3 really helped to get my children interested in learning more about computers. We could battle each other and still had enough virtual room for a computer AI to play against. We always killed the AI off first, after we let him build up a bit. This always made the game even more challenging.

The Best Game I've Ever Played !, Jan 23, 2010
by Chris Cody
Warlords Battlecry 3 is the best game I have ever played because its got the 3d battling gameplay that I love. It’s where you can make armies and build buildings. You can pick you’re own race that you play with and you can hire other races like mercenaries to help fight for you. Every time you win a mission you get money and you buy mercenaries and weapons. There are different spell classes you can pick from like necromancer, where you can summon up skeletons, champions, and whights. You get to make your own hero and level him up and pick his race and spell class. There is also a skirmish mode where you can pick your hero or make a new one with whatever level and whatever spell class and race.

Awesome game it has a really in depth storyline and you get a good feel for it as soon as you get in. Compared to the previous battlecry series this one is more in depth, better graphic and a handful of new classes!

WBIII rocks, Jul 25, 2009
by Jack (France)
Still many years later, this game stays a monument. Good mix of strategy and rpg, WB3 is mostly excellent for its fun and the bond between the player and the hero with his retinue! Notice that the level of the hero goes over 100! The pleasure of making a basic unit a skillful killer is still the same after a hundred games, thanks to the editor of maps, too. Enjoy this game forever

greatest game ever, Jun 23, 2008
by brennan (oroville,WA USA)
This is the greatest computer rpg I have ever played. This game was great because there was so much to do. My favorite aspect of this game is how you can customize your own boss and army. This game was so fun I found myself playing it again and again. It is good for kids and adults. Before I played this I spent alot of my time on starcraft, now I find myself spending hours at a time on this game. the graphics were great and the storyline was also a treat before games to read. this game was definitely worth downloading, installing, and even BUYING.

If you liked Army men rts or any other rts games i think you would like this. This in my opinion brings it up a level. There is alot of factions (Races). You use your men to dominate the other player. The best of it is that you can customize and create a hero of your own. If you like a rpg or a rts game maybe this is made for you.So maybe first use the trial to see if you like it i bet you will. I enjoyed the close capturing of goldmines or other resources. There are 4 resources so you can build up and research for a good army. It is like a rpg cause the hero you can also use spells and other abillites. So try this out maybe you’ll like it.

Fantastic., Dec 20, 2007
by Kenneth Skidmore (Delta, BC, Canada)
Warlords Battlecry 3, while not as popular as other games, is really good. It follows the style of games like Warcraft and Starcraft, although at the same time, it is a totally unique game.
The best parts of this game were the WIDE variety of races. (I’m pretty sure there’s about 10.) And they were EXTREMELY unique. No race had the other race’s exact equivalent in buildings. It wasn’t exactly the prettiest, graphically, but it had a lot of pure replayability and entertainment.
Some of the best things about W:B2, were the ability to build your hero, to superhuman proportions. Your hero levels up, and gains abilities, very similar to your average RPG, as he can gain strength, constitution, and many other skills/subskills. You can also collect items from chests found in the game, upgrading your hero’s abilities further. Additionally, you can collect side-quests from buildings, which more often than not, give you items or soldiers. As for the graphics? They’re fantastic. A must-buy.

Warlords Battlecry 3 Review, Sep 22, 2007
by Zak (USA)
This game, a rather good blend of RPG/RTS genres for once in my opinion, is great fun for anyone who enjoys either brand of game, or both even, like myself. This game is highly appealing to me because I find it quite entertaining to build up one super unit and have the rest of them follow it into battle. I like the soundtrack of the game, it adds a little more flavor to the game. I feel that, after playing it for 60 minutes and wishing for more, that it was well worth the download, and that the full version is worth the price. On a downside, the graphics aren’t the world’s greatest, and the gameplay can become very repetitive after quite a while. All in all, its a good game all around, and I recommend it as a way to pass time and build up fantasy armies of your dreams.

RTS meets RPG, Sep 03, 2007
by Ryan (USA)
I love the idea of developing my hero as I go and this game provides a huge number of different ways to do this. You can develop your hero as the main strike force of your army able to take down huge numbers of the enemy in hand to hand combat, or with powerful offensive spells you have learned. If you prefer to be less involved in the messy bloodshed end you can create a number of different types of support heroes as well from ones that heal your troops as they fight to ones that make everything cheap so your armys are massive quickly built and using the best units available to ones that create their own armys with summoning spells. Whatever direction you want to go as head of a well developed diverse fantasy army you can do. Includes a resonably good campaign to complete with magical artifacts to further strengthen your hero and highly customizable single battle games for tons of replay value. Could use a little more depth on the RPG side, but overall an excellent game

Excellent Game, May 16, 2007
by Chris Brantner (Mount Gilead, NC USA)
For people that like RPGs (Role-playing Games) and/or RTSs (Real-Time Strategy) this game is a great choice, as it mixes a little of both. The game is easy to pickup and play, as well as easy to understand. It may not have the best of graphics, but with a nice blend of strategy and role-playing to make up for it, you will hardly notice. Your hero, which is the leader of your army, is customizable, with 16 races to choose from, many classes, ranging from basic warriors to necromancers. During the course of your battles, your hero will gain levels, which grant you points, which you can put into different statistics, some raising your health while others may increase magic power or add more spells that you can cast. As your hero gains levels, you may want to bring him or her into the campaign mode, which is where this game really shines, attacking territories so your army will grow in strength. I consider this game a must, especially if you like RTS games.

Trial Version worth a look, May 09, 2007
by G. Davis (GA USA)
I’ve only played the trial version so I didn’t have time to get a real feel for the game. However for what little time it lasted I really enjoyed it. I’d compare it to Command and Conquer meets Lord of the rings. I do plan to add it to my list of games to buy. Well worth the download.

A good RTS/RPG mix, May 08, 2007
by Jess H. (Phoenix)
This is an interesting, well done game. It’s a mix between an RTS (base building) and RPG (character progression). Between the large numbers of classes and races, it’s got a fair amount of customization possible. One minor flaw however, there’s no description of the classes in the manual or in game. With a little exploration or a look at a guide online, it’s no real issue. Once into the game, you can further switch things up by choices presented in the game, affecting some of the missions you can go on. It’s a very fun game, if a bit tedious in long hauls. It’s a good game to pop on and play a map or two every once and a while, but harder to sit through a long session.

Amazing!, Apr 29, 2007
by Mik Habash (London Canada)
This is one of the best games I’ve played.I like games where you build your base and conquer the enemy base. But I also like a game where you are one person and you have to level up and beat the game. This game has both.I tried the trial and i was amazed at the detail and how it’s so close to command@conquer but much better. Im quite young so i recommend it for kids (ages 9-12) who like a little violance. What i Really liked about this game is how well you can design your character, your own maps and your base.I’ve really enjoyed playing the trial and im hoping to enjoy it more!
