I played this game from release for about 5 years ! To dats ,this is one of the best shooters ever made. You cant match the fast paced gameplay and polishing this game offers nowadays.

Game modes include ,rescue hosstages ,plant c4 charges ,team death match and a few others.

Weapons are fantastic with superior hit detection for the genre.

WARNING : This is built on the unreal engine and if you like camping ,dont play this ,you will get owned !

I love this game, I still play it now after 9 years and still think it iss one off the best games ever.
The game runs really smooth and the graphics are still good for a 10 year old game.

The guns you can choose are really good, from a Beretta, Glock, Uzi, mp5, aka47, m16, msg, parker hall, m60 and m4a1 rocket launcher.

The bots are either too bad or too good and they don’t play like humans do. but the game is made for online game play!
Online it is really fun, you can play terror vs sf, capture the flag and you can play against monster from ‘Unreal Tournament’.

This game is one of the best! Pretty good graphic for an older game, also it has an awesome gun arsenal. I wish I had bought it. The Demo is amazing! You need to buy this game. Fight terrorism or even play as a terrorist! Choose over 7 different characters and choose where you want to fight. This is one of the top three awesome games on this website! If I were you I’d get it. You have to try this game out trust me you will not regret it! :)

Counter-strike is kinda better than this game.
They both have bots, but Counter-strike is $10.00 if you buy it off Steam, but this game is $20.00. The graphics is a bit better than Counter-strike, but Counter-strike has a wide range of mods, such as the zombie-mod. There is also skins, and Tactical Ops doesnt have custom skins, just standard ones the creators made.

man i was just downloading the free trials for a bunch of games but when i started this one up i was hooked is was like i couldn’t stop playing it. after the free trial was over i had to do it again and again. i just have to say good job!!!

This game by far competes and exceeds Counter-strike source. It has all the weapons that css does, and has a great killing system. It’s fun, and exciting to play. If you like CSS you’ll love this. Need practice? use the single player mode against bots to practice your aim.

As you all know, currently "Counter-Strike" is the most popular first-person shooter there is so far. I’d say that "Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror" is an amazing cleverly made game that could easily compete against "Counter-Strike", the only problem being that it isn’t as widely known. The maps of "Tactical Ops" are, in my opinion, very detailed and has great variety.
The game also features a very wide selection of weapons to suit anyone’s preferences.
However, every game has it’s weaknesses, and "Tactical Ops" seems to be lacking "bot intellegience". If the bots were made so that they would perform as any human would, the game would be almost flawless.
To be honest, there doesn’t seem to be many other games that could be better in gameplay and quality than "Tactical Ops"!

Tactical Ops is an amazing game overall. Almost any component of a game is put within this game with great detail. Of course, this game is highly recommended by me and many others, which may prove that this game is definitely worth it.

The main reason why I enjoyed this game was the gameplay details and components. For example, the wide range of weapons and equipment that can be bought at the start of every round. Each weapon has it’s own special function and are drawn in amazing graphics, enhancing the detail of the game.

Of course, the only one major problem with this game is the BOT intelligence. This may not be a big deal, but it decreases the game’s realtiy value, making it not as realistic as it could be.

Another thing I would point out is that this game would definitely be used as a substitute for Counter-Strike, although I would recommend Counter-Strike more than this game.

That’s it, I would highly suggest this game!

This game is really fun and challenging because you can try lots of different guns and some of them are a lot harder to use. Plus you have to spend your money wisely because if your on an internet game then people might over spend so other members of the team cannot buy a gun they like using. You earn cash by winning rounds. A lot of people are saying it is better than counter strike…...I say YEP!!

I think it’s excelent the way you start to improve your weapons, as long as you keep wining rounds, it gets more interesting round by round, and it’s all about your shooting abilities. If you liked counter-strike you will love this one.
