Very Fun Game (Recommended), Dec 06, 2007
by Michael (AUS)
Its so fun watching your small village of people turn into…..well a big village of people. Its exciting knowing that every time after you’ve turned off the computer that when you come back that something new and exciting will have happened. I definatly recommend this game to people who like The Sims and even if you don’t like The Sims it is still a very enjoyable game. Although I would call it more of a kids or teenagers game I’m sure some adults would like it as well. The only problem i find with this game is waiting hours for a house to be built, sure it makes a bit more realistic but you are spending more time not playing the Virtual Villagers 2 to get further in the game. It’s "user-friendly" meaning that it’s easy to play.It is worth the small price so i suggest you get it.

BEST GAME EVER!!!! Virtual Villagers will blow your mind. It even plays when you’re not. It’s so crazy. You can build your own huts, increase the size of your collony, and get your own food. Show your people how to research, catch food, and build. This may be short but this is one of the best games ever!!!!

Why YOU should play and download Virtual villagers 2, Nov 20, 2007
by Dominique (USA)
My experience with Virtual Villagers was amazing. I thought the first one was great. The second one is even better. With new features like fire building, things to collect, Tree climbing, even more random events alot more often. When i first played it I was no doubt HOOKED. How such a simple game can bring so much entertainment is beyond me, You start and you’ll find yourself playing for hours on end. The only thing I dont like about the game is sometimes the villagers are disobedient and likes to stroll off from tasks you assign them, and when you mate someone they dont always breed, but those kinda things are what make you want to play more and make you want to play till the end, when you reach perfection. That is truly worth the time and the effort. Good Luck!

by Keshav Sarraf (Sidhi, MP India)
i am a student and i generally do not get much time to play games and understand that how to play them. But after i installed the game Virtual Villagers i found it just a very amazing one.I understood the game in a short time and i was enjoying it alot.after that i switched to Virtual Villagers 2 and it was more fun playing it. playing this game is an excellent was of passing time.i also found the activities which we perform take a long time but that is also a concept of the game that development is a slow process.i also liked another aspect of the game that it runs on my pc clock.overall the game was a great fun

Lets Get Virtual, Oct 06, 2007
by Meg (Belford, Northumberland, England)
I had my doubts about Virtual Villagers 2. Real time didn’t appeal to me but after careful consideration i tried the free trial.
I read the instructions and almost immediately i knew what the game was about and the story so far (as i hadn’t played the first game. The first game had seen islanders stranded and fending for themselves and they went into a cave and at the end they found the lost children. I renamed all the charecters in the info screen (as Maib as Kaitu just didn’t fit in with me). After that i turned the free trial of and went for a coffee. Two of my villagers had gone in the hut for ‘private time’ and the woman came out with a baby. When i turned the game on next, the baby was in her late childhood. I decided i liked the idea of real time. I made each villager have a job, science, farming etc
My free trial sadly ended whilst one of the first of sixteen puzzles were being unlocked. I immediately bought the full version and carried on playing
This game is a one off

Good Game!, Sep 12, 2007
by Amanda (Chicago, IL USA)
This game is a great sim game. A much simpler version of SimCity, almost like the SimTown of long ago…lol. It’s very easy to play, and it’s nice that it goes on in the background even when it’s not on. That makes up for how slow the game time is, because you can just check in to make sure they’re doing everything you’d like them to do every half hour or so. The graphics are simplistic, but not bad. I highly recommend it.

Fun game for all ages!!, Aug 18, 2007
by OfficerNMom (Rutledge, TN, USA)
As a mother of 2 daughters I wanted to find a game that we could all enjoy playing. This is a great family game, everyone can play! My girls love it and so do I! Its challenging yet not to challenging. The kids in the game are reluctant to do anything with out help, just like real life, LOL!

I think I will get some very usage from this game. The way children play, the way they study all make the adult give an eye. Games can change those ways.

Virtual Villagers 2 is for you!, Jul 05, 2007
by Renee (Troy, PA USA)
If a role playing game is what you love then you have to check out Virtual Villagers 2. Not only is it addicting but it has levels and puzzles that are quite different which makes the game even better. I had a lot of fun playing with the demo and encourage others to test out the game as well. They will not be disappointed by any means.

Virtual Villagers 2 is way better than the first Virtual Villager game! It is more challenging and there is more to do. You can collect seashells as well as completing the 16 puzzles. I can’t wait to purchase this game. It’s loads of fun!

Better than the first!, Jun 24, 2007

This is so much better than the first, it had new puzzles, new ways to collect food and new people, personally I thought the old virtual villager had ugly people but this one is much better. the mysterys get better and better as you go!

Here to Help, Jun 23, 2007

This game is much like the first one but better. there is better graphics and more things to do. Getting collections helps to get more tech points faster, which you couldn’t do in the first one. One thing i didn’t like about the game is that if you leave the villagers too long they die. Over all it’s a pretty good game.

trust me dont even need to try, just buy, Jun 22, 2007

Virtual Villagers, literally. they do every thing real villagers do but you must look after them tell them wat to do, train and teach them new things. come on everybody’s dream is to own there island so can your tribe prosper and rise or will they be lost in oblivion. Its challenging, and not time consuming; since your villagers work when you shut down the computer, amazing isn’t it. don’t believe its any good well try it and you’ll be hooked, like a fish to its line.

Virtual Villagers 2 is a great game for building strategy & plan. It relates a lot to real life story. It helps you prepare yourself if you were actually really stranded on the island by learning to cure people, studying herbs and/or plants, and dealing with many hardships. This game could possibly benefit your life by teaching you about survival.
If you were to choose a helpful strategy game, I would highly recommend Virtual Villagers 2!

My Virtual Villager's two Review (Puzzle Cheats!), Jun 19, 2007
by Haley (Stuart, FL, USA)
Virtual Villagers 2 is a great simulation puzzler game to play. There are many things to do because you have to take care of your villagers so you take the role of a leader in the game. It’s not as slow as the first game and it’s much more exciting because now you have collections to find so you’ll need more children.

Much Like The First One!, May 31, 2007

Virtual villager is a good time waster, but it is similar to the first, there is nothing exciting in the new one and it is slow build up!

not again..., May 21, 2007
by Skyler (Michigan)
the first one was a good time waster, but it is not like they needed to make the second one, the second one is alot less exciting. since i knew what was going on, it was a lot less challenging. the makers of this should have stopped at 1.
