PLAY IT OR BE BORED, Jun 18, 2009
by Jared Layton (springfield,MO USA)
This is one of those games that is so cool it’s not right. Customization is the least coolest thing, and it’s awesome. The rest of the game is insane, join the senate or conquer the galaxy.

although the graphic aren’t that great, this game is pretty fun. also, the combat is really lame, but the game has it’s fun parts. i like the idea of researching technology and being able to customize your race.

Master of orion III, Mar 05, 2008
by Armando valdes (USA)
My friends as you can see I rate this game as a 5 star game. As you play this game you will start understanding more. Master of orion III has the best garph views a game can have, is easy to play, as you get more into the game you will see that this game has a lot of strategy, and war as far as I can tell this is a good game. This game is fun to play, was at a good price, I think that it was worth it to download it because it did not take much of my memory and it was a fast game if you know what I mean. I know you are going to like it so why don’t you try it for free, I am sure that you are going to like. So do it.

A Space Turn-Based Strategy, Sep 16, 2007
by Ty (Dayton, OH USA)
In this game you will control your very own space empire. In fact every aspect of it. You will trade , conquer, set taxes, set the safety on your planets, design your own ships, you may even vote on and distribute laws of the universe. This game is difficult to learn but VERY rewarding once you get to learn it. The learning curve is about…a whole day, but that is the only drawback as to you’ll find the sounds, music, and battles Extremely satisfying. the alien voices are not so good but they aren’t horrible. Last but not least the longevity of this game is long due to the MASSIVE world you will compete for supremacy in. All in all i love this game and I can almost guarantee you will too.

Fun game, Aug 22, 2007
by Tim Adams (Seattle, WA USA)
Looking at MOO 3 for the first time is a nightmare. There are a thousand different buttons and all of them are confusing. You just have to keep playing. There are great economic AIs that can help you build your planets, which can also be disabled for a more fulfilling empire controlling feeling. The graphics for space combat are lame because they have little detail and they aren’t as fun to shoot at as ships in Star Wars: Empire at War. The only fun thing about the space combat is seeing their entire fleet destroyed by mass amounts of missiles and fighters. In addition, everything about ground forces are pretty badly made. Creating transport forces becomes a drag when you are trying to conquer 4 planets in 1 turn and the ground fighting is boring. I enjoy the technologies and the economics of the game which allow you to become the superpower of the game and destroy the advanced New Orions(Antarans MOO2)MOO3 is fun for people that like to build empires and crush others under their feet.

Orion III worth your time?, Jun 17, 2007
by Jerry (Pittsburgh, PA USA)
Absolutely. This game is obviously the end result of alot of planning and careful game balancing. I don’t want to give it away but it has everything you would expect from a space based strategy game, the graphics of the space combat are lame at best and overall it has alot of "Old School" graphics but aside from that everything else is well detailed and it will addict you after the first hour.
