I was afraid all the good ole helicopter sim shooters were gone. This is a good one and will keep you entertained for a long time.
It gets much harder as the missions go on.

I thought all the good helicopter combat sims were extinct. Glad to see we still have some good ones. Buy This! You won’t be disappointed. Also, if you are interested in another great sim, go to Novaligic and get Comanche 4. These are the best ones still around. Enjoy.

Was so happy to see another excellent combat flight sim. I thought they had all disappeared and were replaced by mindless console software. This is a great PC sim that will give you a good challenge or you can set it on an arcade levell for some easy practice.

This LITE Helicopter Combat sim is and incredible value! I’ve purchased much more expensive helicopter combat sims in the past and did not get any where near that amount of fun and satisfaction I received from this purchase. I can not highly recommend this product enough. The price can not be beat. The graphics are very good. The gameplay is a lot of fun and you do not have to read a 700 page manual to figure out how to play the thing. That always makes a perfect LITE flight sim for me personally. Easy learning curve (5 minutes or less) and Very good graphics. The only thing I could find negative about the game is that you are limited in where you can fly. You must remain within a certain area of the game or you will start over if you wander off from the objective at hand. The graphics are very good but, not excellent. However, with that said… you rally can’t go wrong for a LITE helicopter sim/game. I thoroughly enjoy it every time I fire it up. I could NOT get the game to work in my Windows 7 64 bit system but, it runs just fine on my Windows XP machine. Enjoy and have fun!

This game was amazing in so many different ways. But some things arent that good. When i first played it, it took me about 30mins or more to figure out the controls for the game. But when i got up in the air it was amazing. THe graphics are really goood for this game and the almost realistic dialogue makes the game a 4 for me.
Good job creators and make some more good games for us.

I still have the original CD. It does not work on Windows XP. I had alot of fun playing this game. It came with a key cut-out that you placed on the keyboard to help you along.

A freind and I used to play it all the time. The left side keyboard was the pilot and the right was the navigator/gunner.

I really liked the game.  I had to get used to the handling, but once I did, the game was on!

I liked the multiple ways to move the helo.  It was more realistic the way I was allowed to move it.  I look forward to buying the full version soon.

I just downloaded the free version and barely figured out out to take off and fly before my time ended. I thought it was pretty advanced for the time is was made (much better than Comanche Gold" in my opinion). Well I must admiit it was good enough to download for your $14 even though im an avid BF2 player and love the online world, but need a break every now and then. I really need to know if there is some sort of advanced settings for a saitek controller and if I cant use that new of Joystik, I still need to know where all the button config is because its a game in itself trying to find all of the buttons. When you just have the urge to make something go boom, or just need a place to take a break, this game is it. Controlling the AH-64D Apache in this game is very simple. Use the arrow keys to move (left=lean/turn left and vise versa for right, up arrow=lean forward and back arrow=lean back)and space to fire. Some of the hardest parts of the game are aiming, but it is very easy to hit your targets with your 70mm Hydra rockets, or use your big gun, the "Hellfire" missle. This game creates the best of both worlds, having simulation of flying in 1st, or 3rd person, and having the objective of blowing the enemy to bits. It has very good graphics, and is very much worth the time of downloading. It is much like the great Playstaion 2 game,"Thunder Strike", where you pilot a apache to attack various targets. This game has great simulation of how a helicopter really responds to movement and hard landings and other various mishaps. This game is great for everyone, an I highly recommend buyiung it
