School Tycoon, Aug 31, 2007
by Cool Guy (Florida, USA)
The game puts you in charge of a school’s operations, so you must make concessions between the school’s budget and the students’ education. It’s rather simple for a tycoon game, and there are some noticeable bugs that can be frustrating. However, the game’s simplicity does work well to create an entertaining strategy game. The introduction cinematic is amusing to watch because it features a stressed-out, bumbling principal who boils over the edge and tells you to run the school. There are several issues in the game that can get frustrating. When you reload a saved game, everything is reset. You can no longer track stats from your earlier play session. What’s even more detrimental is that somehow your budget gets wacky. You can save the game with $5,000 in the bank, but when you load it, you’ll find yohurself $3,000 in debt. So if you’re looking for a management game that won’t overwhelm you with details, School Tycoon should be right up your alley.

Strategy and a very Addictive game, Aug 19, 2007
by Shemia (Washington, DC USA)
This is a great game to play for all ages. It is also very additive. There are lots of things that you may do. You may: create virtual students, build classrooms of all sorts, hire teachers and staff members of any kind, select students and give commands, build entertainment buildings for your students, and much much much more! Who ever plays this game would want to buy it as soon as possible. Trust me you will love it.

Delightful!, Aug 10, 2007
by Allison (Colorado, USA)
This game is just as much fun as it is educational for the younger group of players, specifcally ages 8-11. I, myself enjoy being in control of the school, having the ability to do whatever. Fire teachers, expel students, whatever I want. I strongly recommend this game for anyone that enjoys being in control and building things from the ground up.

An entertaining and creative game for all ages, Aug 07, 2007
by gamegirl94
I think this was a very entertaining game to play. It is tons of fun for any age and is definetely worthwhile to download or buy. I am very picky about games but i truly thought this game rocked! The graphics get about 3-4 stars. But if they make a school tycoon 2 i’d suggest they make you able to walk around as principal or something like in zoo tycoon 2 where you are a zookeeper. Overall a classic game that everyone will enjoy.

Had so much room for improvment., Jul 31, 2007
by Cody King (Sellersburg, IN)
First of all, this game was alright. It was a good idea, but I feel that team that made it just didn’t try hard enough. After you build your school big, the students will ignore some classes. So I would just delete them, because they were ignoring them, and after I did my ratings, ect, would go down. This to me, was very frustrating. But on the good side, It was a good idea. However, I’ve never seen a school like they made you bulid them, before in my life. It was fun trying to unlock the new classes. I think that younger gamers would like this game, because it is easier than most tycoon games. It’s not too confusing.
This is one of those games thats hard to review, because some may like it, but some may not. BUT THIS IS GOOD since the game is pretty cheap.

School Tycoon: Challenging Yet Addictive, Jul 31, 2007
by Navneet (Milwuakee, WI, USA)
School tycoon is an excellent simulation game. I love the fact that you can customize, create, and control the school. The most difficult part was keeping students happy. You learn a lot too and understand what it feels like to be a principal of a real school. You definitely get MORE BANG for the BUCK!!

Just like any other tycoon game, you have the freedom to build your school from the ground up. This ability allows players to "play God", so to speak. I only downloaded the free trial and even though it is short, I am definitely considering buying it!
It’s almost realistic in the sense that at first you start out with a small amount of money and not very good facilities, but you must work your way to the top. If you’re doing good, you’ll get coupons in the newspaper that will allow you to buy things like teacher meetings. These are usually expensive, but will boost your morale. I love going into the minds of the students to see what they really think of the way I built the school.
All in all, it’s a very well-rounded game and I know that anyone of any age can enjoy it. Imagine building your own school and torturing or pleasuring its students to your hearts content! Great game!

BEST SIM GAME, Jul 15, 2007
by Faye (United Kingdom)
In my opinion this is the best sim game. Its extremely addictive and enjoyable but at the same time challenging. And to make it better the graphics are stunning. Couldn’t ask for a better game. 5 stars.

Amazing Game!, Jul 08, 2007

This game is so cool and very addictive! It has great graphics and awesome sound effects. I loved creating my own school and I wish my school was like the one I created. This game was very creative and well put together. I also liked the design of each building! I love sim games but the has got to be my favorite!

School Control, Jun 29, 2007
by Tina (IL USA)
School Tycoon gives you the chance to control what teachers you have at your school. If you ever wish you had such control, this is a game for you. However, you will want to try and keep your customers (students) happy and doing so is kind of difficult. I think this is a cute game for students who ever wanted to be able to pick and choose what teachers work at the school, but other than that, I felt that the biggest downfall was trying to please everyone. It is a pretty cute game and worth the download, but it’s not my favorite tycoon game. It’s still a pretty good game though.
