deer hunter 05 is one of the best hunting games I have ever played. The imagery is amazing, It one of those games where you actually want to stop and just enjoy the scenery. It is and amazing game all around. the weapon choices are fabulous I had an amazing time. I HIGHLY recommend it.

this game feels like it is real life when you are playing it because you really have to call these deer up in a stand like you would really do in real life. It does not show dots where deer and other animals are , you have to go find them. It shows where the bullets hit and even sometimes you will have to go find the blood trail for your animal. You even get to shoot animals like: raccoons, squirrels, and evn kangaroos. If you are a real hunter you will buy this game and play it the rest of your life.

Deer hunter 2005 is one of the best hunting games i have ever played. im not a big gamer and im a real outdoors kinda guy. But in playing the demo i’ve discovered that this game was simple realistic and fun. I don’t have much computer smarts but that didn’t matter this game rocked. Now i wanted to see if this was actually a game that gamers could get into. so i told my friend who is a huge gamer buys all the new games the second they come out and has already preordered Halo 3 says that this is one of the best hunting computer games he has ever played. i especially liked how they incorporated sound and smell into the game giving it that realistic edge. Its great for kids and adults i let my grandfather play it and i couldnt get him off of it and there is no blood so the kids can play also. so it is a great game for the family and i would strongly advise it

Deer Hunter 2005 is the best game I have ever played. The graphics are amazing it’s the best graphics I have ever seen. In the first hour of the trial I wanted to buy it. The software is 100% virus free. Even though there aren’t tons of maps each map is packed with deer and space. I hope you enjoy the game. Look out for the Big Buck!

This game is amazing. Simple as that. The amount of customization is unbelievable. You can name your gun, change colors, and even decide what your character’s weaknesses and strengths are.

  The graphics are topnotch, with water reflections, shadows, and smooth animations. It is so lifelike you heart gets pumping every time you see the big one.

  The amount of places you visit are well designed. Wide expansive and detailed environments. The animals behave with it. If there is a stream they stop for water.

  What is probably the only thing I didn’t like is it can get frustrating at times. I would recommend it for teens and adults, since they are the one who hunt anyway.

  All in all I really enjoyed this game as a simulation of hunting. It is almost as real as it gets to the real thing. 5 out of 5!

Wow, this game amazes me, because you can pick from alot of things from horses to weapons, the weapons you can customize and there are a lot of different weapons, and you also have choices of vehicles, scent sprays, lures, and camps and stuff, it has a lot of features that you just cant say, but it is a fantastic game and i think you should try it out or buy it, because it is worth your time, i’ve been playing it for awhile now, and i’m still not bored! there are a lot of areas to go deer hunting and target practice area’s to practice your shots.

Deer Hunter 5 is the greatest so far in the deer hunter series. This version of deer hunter includes new weapons, new terrain, new vehicles, and more. The greatest thing about Deer Hunter 5 is that they are continually improving their 3-D texturing, and it looks great. I find that the more a video game improves its graphics and appearance, the more it grabs your eye and makes you want to continue playing. This game is very realistic, so be quiet…and you might get that big buck you are looking for.

This hunting game is great for any young hunter that can not leave the house. You can choose all of your weapons, lures, optics, and stands. You may only have 2 weapons one stand and one vehicle. this game is well worth the wait for the download because you have a 30 day trail. you can also hunt in many different places. You can also make your own weapons and choose your own bullet size and scope and colors.

Cabela’s Deer Hunter series has certainly come a long way since the original "Deer Hunter", progressing all the way through 3, 4, and 5 and then into the 2000 series. The graphics, as always, are excellent. The gameplay, I think, is a lot better than it has been in previous games.

In 2004, for example, the hunting experience was more realistic because the deer were harder to find. You had to either really look for them, or sit and wait. This made ‘quick-break’ gameplay impossible, and was boring as well.

In 2005 the deer are more common, though not all over the place, and if you want to rush in a hunt you can ‘cheat’ with exotic equipment such as infrared and motion scanners. Deer come in champion sizes as well as worthless, and there are rares built into the game which can win you points on the deer hunter forums.

The weapons selection, however, is limited. All in all, I find this game a joy to play, and I hope my review can influence others to buy it. It’s well worth it!

Deer Hunter 2005 is probably one of the most realistic hunting games ever! The graphics are awesome. It really feels like you are hunting. You can hunt 5 species including, blacktail, whitetail, Mule Deer, European Roe Deer, and massive axis deer. It is a total upgrade to Deer Hunter 2004. You can make your own custom weapons! I can’t wait to see what Atari has in store next for all of the simulation hunters out there.

Deer Hunter 2005 game seemed so real.  Such good graphics on it.  You should all download this game it’s well worth its price.  You can choose 5 species of deer to hunt and you can hunt with about 30 different weapons, it’s so cool.  I felt like i was out in the woods scoping out for that big trophy buck.  These Deer Hunting games keep getting better and better.  You not only have fun playing this but you can also get wiser because you can use the same stuff hunting out in real life. The game Deer Hunter 2005 is probobly one of the best games ive ever played. The graphics of the game is just fonominal,a i acually felt like i was hunting deer in real life!!  The amazing part is that you can hunt over five different kinds of deer and you get a weapon of choice!!
