Be prepared to roll at ~36% history of victories for the first 40 turns or so. The “clever” AI is simply geared to make collecting cards/territories difficult for the user rather than actually be strategic. Can still be a fun game once you realize and accept that you will start every game with one hand tied behind your back.

Awesome Game!, Jun 10, 2009
by Corey (Thunder Bay, ON, Canada)
Believe me when I say that this is an awesome game because I’ve been playing the free version now for some time and I still enjoy it! It’s a lot better than the game Risk in many ways, and plus it’s got a free version that’s still tons of fun!

The game is much more inviting than versions of RISK that I have paid for. I just needed a simple game that would be fun and a mind cleaner. Very good game!

CONQUEST, the frustation releiver., Jun 26, 2008

A way to activate and awake the senses, is to have a quick game of conquest when you wake up in the morning. Containing no sugar or caffene, this game is not at all harmful to your health, however, it does tend to be habit forming. It surpasses the original board game, and you are able to move into action very quickly.

Overall its a good game. its very adictive. one thing that gets annoying is the dice rolling noise. you learn to deal with it though.

very cool risk style game, Jun 15, 2008
by 1949 chevy (wi usa)
the game is a freeware of risk and an (optional) paid download of 300 other maps , very untraditional maps.fun game if you have dial-up and don,t have time for the larger games, i also recommend mission risk

Conquest... the new RISK, May 28, 2008
by Jason (Dallas, TX USA)
Let’s see where to start. First off let’s talk about the graphics… well they aren’t anything special, but come on, neither is the game board in real life. Let’s face it, this game is not about graphics or pretty pictures, its about competition and conquering your foes, which this game excels at.
Gameplay feels like the real thing with an ease of use that I haven’t come across anytime recently. Everything flows well together and it is definitely worth the money. If you’re not sure, hey download the free version and give it a try! Good luck and happy hunting!

good but...., Apr 20, 2008

fun game, but it becomes tiresome after a few go arounds. forget about buying it, the programmers just didnt put in enough effort. The fact that it has 100 downloadable maps is pretty neat, but this SHOULD BE FREEWARE!

Hope it is a freeware!, Mar 18, 2008

I don’t think anyone will want to buy this "Risk like" game. I hope the producers did it in their free-time and were not paid to do that, because I really don’t think it can be sent at any price.
It has just the minimal Risk features, but the graphical isn’t good, there aren’t options interesting and the game looks mechanical.
Sure if you have never played with another Risk game you could find it interesting, but if you have ever tried a good one you will find the big differences.
It is not as good as Risk or Risk II, but have no comparisons with other Risk game (I don’t remember the names).
The market of Risk is quite full of games like this, so I think programmers should do a better work if they want to compete with other games.

This was one of the best game i ever played. it needs lot of time to complete the game but you will never get bored. Fun and addictive game it is the Conqest Risk. A great game to pass your time if you are bored. Try it.

Very nice!, Feb 25, 2008
by KA (Finland)
The gameplay is simply fantastic. There is no need to study an entire rulebook in order to play the game. The game is extremely elegant in nature but the game does tend to be slightly unfair. Sometimes winning is child’s play and sometimes the computer is an incredible cheater. Most of the time I attack with vastly superior numbers - something like 5 to 1 - and still I could easily lose. Hence the "average" rating. Well worth my time though!

I feel the screen map is too small. I have a 22" flat panel and the largest I can make the map is 13 x 5 1/4". Sean says thats it as far as size goes. Can anyone else tell me how to make it bigger? My eye sight just isn’t what it used to be. I like the game otherwise.

4 out of 5 and heres why, Dec 22, 2007

Risk is an awesome game, this is a basic knockoff, it’s very simple with graphics, but also very fast. It’s got all the basics, but nothing more. Perfect for anyone that wants just a regular basic game of risk.

Excellent and addictive strategy game, Nov 03, 2007
by Jane Jones (Tulsa, OK USA)
This game is so addictive, I’ve been playing it daily for at least a year. The computer players challenge you and are not predictable, even though they have certain "characteristics" that they follow. Some are bold, some are placid, etc. The full version’s downloadable maps add a lot of variety, and I’ve only found one out of the thirty or so that I’ve tried that had any type of "glitch." The full version is well worth the $20. Any child who can understand strategy could definitely play this game and there is no inappropriate content. The graphics are not fancy in the least but they are clear. I’ve played other Risk games with more focus on graphics, but they weren’t as fun or easy to play.

I downloaded the free version which is really fun but soon you will need a more of a challenge. The full download is awesome and i’ve spent hours of my life playing it. The lord of the rings map is my favourite. I’ve shown this game to all my mates who loved it especially as its so simple but requires strategy. Well RECOMMENDED but not by the wife who hates this game with a passion as i give it so much of our quality time.

this is a variation of the classic game risk. you can customize the game for almost unlimited play. if you like risk, this game is a must have. it also allows for quicker games with a automatic roller so no more waiting on the dice. you can also have big games, this variation of risk allows for more than one human controlled player. happy gaming its well worth the price not many weak points or faults

This is an addictive fun game to play. It is quick to download and is easy to learn. The game does not get boring, as you can change your strategy in every game. I enjoy playing risk, but find it hard to find 6 people to join me for a game, with conquest you never need to look for other players. I would highly recommend this game!

Greatness, Mar 01, 2007

This game has been considered to be the greatest game my family has come across. For such a long time my family hasn’t been able to find something that we can all do and talk about until we came across, conquest. My dad, mom, sister, brother, brother in law, sister in law and me all play this game now. Each and every day we all talk about it and how one person beat one game on very clever and brag about it cause the rest of us couldn’t. Its just a great family game.
