Game Review: Ancient Hearts and Spades, Dec 03, 2009

I have been a die-hard fan of spades for years. It is a game our family has played at all gatherings. This game is great in that it allows me to play alone when the family is not present. It is fast-paced and fun. I consider myself a pro at Spades and my scores are proof. Ancient Hearts and Spades is played with partners; bids are offered and the score depends on whether the partners can “live up” to its bids. Sometimes I don’t know how good I am, so I may bid too low causing “bags”. It is difficult when I must beat out my partner (the computer) to obtain my bids but I noticed my partner does allow me to win books in order to live up to my bids. It is a fun game that I can spend hours playing. I recommend this game to all of those who like to play trunks and spades.

I was so impressed with the speed and the aptitude of the other “players”!  It was like playing a REAL game of spades!  I haven’t played spades since I retired from the Air Force and this game brought back some great memories!  The graphics are great and it was a pleasure to finally find a game that lived up to it’s reputation!!  Thanks DFG.com…..you have made a quality product!!

What a great game.I love that I have the option of picking from easy to hard! And I love the challenge of playing the hard version.So worth the time to download and install, and really worth the price of the download!
I have a little simple game of spades that’s free, but there is no comparison.

The best game of hearts, and spades ever. And, I am an adult. My nine year old grandaughter was here this summer, and when she saw me playing Antient Hearts and Spades, she had to learn how. Thought "it was really cool!"

You can play either spades or hearts and both games are fun.  It’s like playing that game in real life.  You were able to understand the game fully and know how it works, whether your a beginner or a pro at the games.
