I love this game it is very good and never gets boring. you can pick your name out and even your color. it is not easy and it is not impossible to beat. it is a true strategy game and is not a game of luck. that is why i love this game.

THE BEST, Jan 12, 2008

This game is one of the best board games you can download and buy of all time. Its like playing risk for real but better it counts up all the men for you. It takes about 25 minutes to download. But when you get it its well worth the wait.

Excellent computer version of the board game!!, Nov 19, 2007
by abs (cincinnati, OH)
This game is an excellent recreation of the board game. It is very user friendly and the graphics are very cool. There are a lot of options available to keep play fast, if you wish. For first time players, the rules are easy to find and read, and there is a hint box (tutorial box) that pops up regularly to guide you through. Computer challengers vary in skill level giving some diversity. Haven’t tried to use with friends. This game got my juices flowing just like the old board game!!!

this game is so cool! it is even better than the original risk boardgame which i played with my family. u can play it any time with the computer but the board game must have a few people to play and since both my parents are busy i find it hard to find a chance to play risk !

100% Addictive, Oct 22, 2007

The computer version of the popular board game not only simplifies the guidelines and rules of the original board game, but make it far easier to develop your own personal style for WORLD DOMINATION!! Seriously though, it is great that you can play your general against different computer generals that each possess their own style and strategy, so it’s never repetitive and always challenging.

REALLY FUN!!, Oct 21, 2007

I love this risk game! It’s so much fun on the computer because my family doesn’t want to play Risk all the time, so now I can play by myself! And I like the quick attack thing where instead of rolling dice, it does an automatic battle, which is really cool. That’s what makes it takes less time to play a game. I played with my friend once, and he had 496 people in Siam! The armies build up so fast!

The game was really nice….
playing the game isn’t hard, it’s quite easy and the rules aren’t complicated…
the only rule that I don’t really agree is that you have to conquer the whole world, I think that it should have different missions, like: conquer 3 continents or half the world (21 territories)... having to conquer the whole world at higher generals level can take too long….
the game is perfect for kids and adults it doesn’t matter the age…
The price is really worth it!
I really recommend playing this game because it’s lots and lots of fun!!

Risk, Aug 30, 2007

I have always hated Risk the boardgame. I used to be a nanny to four boys who always played Risk and I just didn’t see the point. But I downloaded a free demo and now I am hooked! I love it! I can’t help myself. I feel like I must take over the world or my day is not complete. I keep finding new downloads so that I can play demos over and over. On payday I’ll be buying a full version, but until then, I will try to conquer the world one hour at a time. For any one who thinks they hate RISK, play it on the computer. It’s convenient, practically hands free, wartime fun.

A Perferct Recreation, Aug 26, 2007

Let me start of by saying, wow, just wow.
They’ve perfectly recreated one of times best board games, and made it simpler to play. With the normal board game, its takes practically half of an hour to just set the game up, with territory allocations and troop placements. Under this game, it took maybe two or three minutes.
Instead of counting out pieces, you just right-click which territory your want and decide with a slider bar how many would go there. With the ‘Quick Battle’ Feature, you can simply have one territory attack another until it wins, or is unable to. If you don’t like that, you can use the auto-roll feature until you decide you want to retreat.
Another added bonus is that the computer players don’t use the same strategy. One was doing a great defense and another was running around attacking whenever it could.
A definite must get. Great for your kids, or great for you. You can also make it into an event, and do multi-player with your friends instead of playing the AI.

i love this game. it is one of the most addicting games i have ever plaid. think of the hours of perfect and mesmerizing hours of playing this game with a friend. i have always loved risk and think of playing it without having to clean up the game every single time you play. it’s awesome. the only thing that i like about the board game better is my laptop is always running out of battery and with a board you don’t need a battery, but you cant save your game and put it away with the board version. this is the best game of 2007 easy.
