Wow!, Jul 17, 2008
by Ife Ibitayo (Mission,TX USA)
This game is one of my top ten favorite games on the internet. It allows you to create a robot of your very own. The weapons are many and if you play the demo you’ll wish you could own it as soon the demo is over! What I liked about the game was that you actually get the feel of making a real robot. The fighting is also a lot of fun too. There is nothing I can tell you I didn’t like about the game.

Building a robot makes you very confident once you are done building. But the challenge is making the robot and wiring and all that stuff. The weapons are very nice, but people say that robot arena part 1. But robot arena1 is not that exciting because where are all the robot parts falling?, or the flipping over? I dont believe that. I have nothing to say anything bad about it. I LUV ROBOT ARENA 2: DESIGN AND DESTROY!!!!

+great game+, Apr 21, 2008

this is by far my favorite game ever. and this site rocks for game downloads. i am so happy i came to this site! great job guys! and to the people who made the game. you are awesome too. the way you can battle other people around the world is absolutely amazing! it is like you are at a robot war in real life! great work by the download website and the the creators/developers of the devastatingly great real life graphics. keep it up guys and girls. you are doing very good!

A good game, but eventually repetitive., Apr 15, 2008
by Ben G. (California)
SOUND 8/10
There’s not much to say about the SFX. The metal sounds like metal, though a little low quality. There’s not much else.
GRAPHICS 6/10
This is a part that begins to fail for the game. The textures leave a lot to be desired, and they’re low resolution. They just don’t seem to be… material. The scratches and bolts and such don’t feel very realistic.
GAMEPLAY 9/10
This is where the game really starts to shine. The robot editor is extremely fun, however, it gets repetitive after a long session of playing. The very idea of being able to build the battling robots without the hassle of spending bundles of money for the materials is just great! You can basically make whatever you want to put on it, swinging weapons, flamethrowers, magnets… etc. And after you build it, you get to control it in a fight against various other opponents, AI or human. Controls can be configured however you ant, even depending on the different parts you put on your robot!
OVERALL 8/10

Robot Arena 2, Mar 13, 2008

THIS GAME WAS AMAZING!!!!!the graphic were one of the best graphics from all the computer games I played. the controls were also really good I really like how you can make a full body spinner. I think they should make a 3rd robot arena with more weapon selections.

robot arena 2: the best game ever, Mar 07, 2008
by Ben Read (Downend,Bristol,England,UK)
In a word this game is amazing, the graphics are the best i’ve seen anywhere, the fact that you are able to design and build your own robots as well as being able to use some computer-built robots is the most brilliant idea in the history of gaming, the guy who planned the original concept and the team of people who made it all deserve a huge raise in their paychecks, the number of AI robots is also definitely impressive and the arenas are some of the most imaginative I have ever seen.
Only one thing is wrong with the game, which is the fact that it is not distrubuted in the UK

Ultimate Robot Wars Simulation, Dec 08, 2007

Robot Arena 2 is a much improved version of its predecessor; Robot Arena. It includes a friendly user interface with easy to navigate menus.
The structure of building your robot is remarkable and well thought out. You don’t have a choice of chassis and weapons. Have you ever played a robot wars type game and tried to make your robot but thought something like: "the chassis could be wider and taller"; "that axe is too small" or "I wish the tires could be bigger"? Well, if you have we have a surprise for you. You make them yourselves. Yep, you heard me. You make the hole robot yourselves. EVERYTHING. You could say its the autosculpt of robot wars. Absolutely astounding.
When you actually made your robot the arenas you fight in or incredible. You don’t just fight in a boring old studio arena, you can fight in fantastic fantasy places which are stunning.
If this game was real, I’d be in heaven. Sorry for the cliche but it’s true. This game is holy

Robot Arena 2, Dec 05, 2007

This game is awesome I loved playing it so much. I recommend everybody who likes to build and fight to get this game. I also like you can get a free trial. The robot possibilities are endless. It was definitely worth the time to download. The game has some of the best graphics I’ve ever seen. Get this game I highly recommend it because you’ll love it so much. People who have this game will have fun building and fighting robots just like the show Battlebots. I liked this game because I’ve always wanted to build a Battlebot for the show and fight them. This makes it so much fun to finally find a game so realistic. The only game I have is the game Battlebots Design And Destroy. It’s OK but the graphics aren’t that good because it’s for the Game Boy. I’ve always been good at building things and controlling them. I have a gasoline RC car that goes over 60 mph and I would love to take it apart and put it back together. So get this game today to have one of the best robot program ever.

It takes a while..., Nov 21, 2007

This game takes a little while to get used to but when you do its a blast. Just start slow and don’t get frustrated. Make sure you have a motor for everything and that you can control that motor. With that I leave you, and now you can get down and dirty with the game.

ROBOT ARENA IS THE BOMB, Oct 06, 2007

I got this game about 2 years ago and let me tell you it is still the greatest custom bot building game by far. I give it 2 thumbs all the way up

Best robot fighting game!!!, Aug 15, 2007

Robot Rampage, Jul 07, 2007

Robot arena 2 is a fun game good for anyone. The very beginning of the game is confusing but then gets much better. It is very hard to make your own bots however and you are better off redesigning current bots. Initially the game is frustrating when you can’t win but you quickly master the controls. The game was definitely worth the fairly short download time and would most likely worth the buy. All of the arenas and robots are creative and entertaining and the effects are very funny. All and all a very good game.

Robot Arena: Design & Destroy (PC), Jul 01, 2007
by LCY (Toronto Ontario Canada)
In Robot Arena: Design & Destroy, you’ll create your own custom-made,uh, death machines..fighting automatons..oh, all right, let’s just call them what they are- BattleBots. Then you’ll bring them into obstacle-laden gladiatorial arenas to fight to the death against other bots. For those not up on their late-night basic cable television, the basic idea behind robot combat is to build a weapon-wielding robot that can immobilize or destroy your opponents- or at least cause more total damage -while being careful to keep your own unit functional in the process. Robots come in varying weight classes, and it’s great fun to pit different types against one another, as each has its notable share of advantages and disadvantages. The game’s graphics are mostly convincing,at least inside the arena. Bits and pieces fly off bots during combat, wear and tear builds up on outer casings, sparks fly out when appropriate, but the crowds outside of the arena seems to be poorly rendered cardboard cutouts.

The Best Dang Game in the World!!!!!!, May 30, 2007
by Roboticon 4000 (Highlandville,MO USA)
This game is so fun that you will play so long that your hands blister! Robot Arena 2 lets you create a robot by putting weapons, wheels, and more on your robot! It’s good for anyone including kids(duh!). It’s probably the best game in history! I’ve played games like this, but none were as good. If you’ve played the first, then you might think this game will suck, but believe me, this game is sweeeet!!! I wish I had the full version, I wouldn’t ever be bored in my entire life! Man, I am always bored, but when I played this game’s free trial, I felt like 5 minutes went by, then the screen turned off, and it said that the free trial was over, so I got bored again. So again, you should play this game!!!

Fun game, May 25, 2007
by Alex T. (Bordentown, NJ USA)
I’ve tried this game, and really liked it. It seems that many other people liked it as well. I liked the way that you could build your own robot, and then you could pit it against other robots! I lost my first match, but the second one I won easily! It’s an easy game to learn. It’s easy to create a robot off the schematics of another, all you have to do is import the data of a starter robot, and edit away! This game is definitely worth the time to download, it takes seconds, and is really fun to play, that way you can have fun with less waiting time! I’ve played the firs version, and I would have to say that I personally liked the second version better. This game is definitely worth it, and it’s something that kids can enjoy, as well as adults!

Robot Destruction!, May 16, 2007
by Bigshot94
This game is one of the greatest, yet simplest games ever! It is so much fun to build your robots and it is even cooler to fight your friends via internet with the robots you make! All my friends are so into this game and it is unique in every way.
To create a robot all you need to do is create a frame then fill it with things like control board for creating controls to make the tires spin, and your weapons spinning, slamming, firing, retracting, and a lot more things too. Next, add motors (for wheels) and of course a battery or two to power your robot. Then you add a weapon like an axe, a buzz saw, a spiked club, and a spiked ball! If you buy this game you won’t be disappointed.

GTREATEST PC GAME!!, Apr 15, 2007
by hahn (Indiana)
I, along with a bunch of others thought that this was the most entertaining, wonderfull game for a pc.! If you like to build mechanics, destroy, and like controls, this is for you. Like the first robot arena this gives you bunches and bunches of accesories, batteries. (more than two, varies from 6 volt-12 volt car batteries), a bazzilian motors flame throwers and a whole lot more!!.
Unlike the first, on the second you can completely build your own chassi, ranging from blue prints-to 3d veiw-add all your stuff exactly were you want it. No limited slot holes, if you have the room you can add it.
I havnt gotten all the competiton done yet, but there a LOT more than 9 contestants.
Its more like the real thing, competition, win, you get further. And there is a lot of competition.(Im guessing at least 100 different rounds and I may be under estimating it.)And for the people with slower pc’s they have a bunch of options ranging to make it perform well on your pc. Fantastic!game!

This game is great for people who are interested in robotics, love shows like robot wars, or just like to beat things up. I really enjoy the aspects of designing a battle robot and testing it against others’ designs
