Multiple rooms per level provide an added challenge, as not all items belong to the room in which they were found.

Cons

Once every item has been replaced, the room closes and cannot be reaccessed until the completion of the entire game, reducing re-playability.
With objects scattered about multiple rooms, sometimes returning them to their original location is a bit tricky.

In Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor, everything in sight has been ransacked and it is your mission to restore order from chaos. One of the most unique hidden objects game to date, items have been separated into several pieces and discarded somewhere in the room to be collected and reassembled.

More Than Just Finding Objects

A particular point of originality requires the mended objects to be returned to their rightful locations to complete the level. Adding to the challenge, pieces of objects can be hidden behind other features of the room, and may only be uncovered by using puzzle items, also split and hidden somewhere on the floor.

Conclusion - A Unique HO Game Worth Playing

Although refreshingly original, the rigid story line does not leave room for new objects to find and consequently loses replay appeal. That said, the structure of the game is so original and stimulating that it is a must-play for any puzzle enthusiast.
