Strategic Resource Management

Romopolis plays like many other resource management titles in that your basic task is to construct buildings ranging from houses, like apartments or mansions, to public buildings, like hospitals, shrines, or markets. You must construct specific structures in order to meet all three goals per level before time runs out.

Each building costs a certain amount of wood and stone and requires a certain number of workers to construct it, and all of these resources cost money. The only form of income you have available is rent from houses. The happier the residents are, the higher income they generate. Income is influenced by nearby public buildings, gardens, toilets and more.

Challenging Gameplay

While the earlier levels will probably not stress your management skills too much, expect to put your strategic thinking skills to the test in the later levels when fulfilling the goals requires planning ahead. Experience a 24-level campaign or create your own scenarios with the sandbox mode and choose from 24 maps to set your own goals and deadlines.
