I have found this game fun. Good graphics, sound, and addicting. It is a challenging game, a good stimulation game as you try to keep up your ranch and horses. I highly recommend this game.

The game is very well made. The horses respond realistically, and perform based on how well they are cared for, much like a real horse. Very fun and real :)

I’ve spent a good amount of time in the last few years trying, testing and playing a wide variety of horse games, but this was one I was yet to play.

I had played the first game, ‘My Riding Stables’, and was thoroughly impressed by it, as it was so different from all those other horse and riding games that are out there.

‘My Riding Stables 2’ is without doubt one of, if not the absolute best horse riding game I personally think I have played. My favourite aspect of the game is that it isn’t like those other horse games with some kind of mystery where you spend the whole game doing tasks such as chasing or finding people. This game has a much more hands on and realistic feel to it.

I have never seen a game that has really properly allowed you to do what you can in this one. Instead of just clicking a button and appearing somewhere outside with your horse and rider, you actually retrieve your horse from the field, tack up and lead it out.

Another thing I absolutely loved about this game is the accurate and well done animations, especially for the horses’ movements and when the rider mounts and such. The gaits and jumping animations and smooth and nice to watch.

In ‘My Riding Stables 2’ there are much less limitations on the game. There’s more time to do what you feel like doing and taking a break from the tasks and jobs to be done, and when riding in the fields, you don’t have to stick to a path, you can just ride freely in the area.

The only thing I could say that I think would personally make the game even better is to offer more personalisation with the horses, but that’s only a minor suggestion.

In conclusion, I would highly and without any doubt reccomend this game for people of any age - I believe a younger child could enjoy is just as much as an adult if it’s the kind of game they would play! It’s not at all a game that will bore you quickly and the tasks are unrepetitive and fun to complete, as well as the features of buying and selling, breeding and competitions.

I am quite sad that this game isn’t more often advertised or talked about because I honestly say I personally found it one of the best and is an absolute favourite. In comparison to games such as the Pippa Funnel games series or Ellen Whitaker games, I find it to much less known about yet so much more accurate and realistic for me. (Being a horsewoman in real life can make me quite critical with horse games as I get annoyed with unrealistic or inaccurate features!)

So yes, I really do think you should try this game out. Definetly worth the money to buy (although I haven’t managed to get round to doing so myself). Definetly worth it!
