The third installment in the Mortimer Beckett series, the Time Paradox, jumps between many time periods searching for the scattered pieces of a “time bomb.”
After getting rid of the ghosts in his Uncle Jerome's home in Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor, now Mortimer faces a new challenge: a time portal has opened in his uncle's home!
To make matters worse, pieces of the Time Bomb built by Jerome to close the portal have been strewn across time, and it's up to Mortimer to jump in and reassemble the scattered pieces.
Join him in the quest to close the portal before it creates a Time Paradox!
Hobnob with dangerous Caribbean pirates, and help King Louis XVI flee the French Revolution! Experience the Dark Ages, the Wild West, and the Robot Age. Every era is completely unique, and each one presents several scenes as well as new puzzles to solve.
Each scene in Mortimer Beckett and the Time Paradox is vividly brought to life with color and detail. Due to the time portal, many modern objects have been dispersed across the centuries. Stare in amazement at the spectacle of London's Big Ben clock tower looking down on the Pyramids of Egypt!
Excellent full-screen graphics and illustrations enhance the hidden object game play and interesting historical scenes. Appropriate music and sounds also help to immerse you in the story and provide a complete gaming experience!
Many hidden object games offer little beyond the first playing experience. Once you finish Mortimer Beckett and the Time Paradox, however, play it again and be surprised at the new challenges that come with changing piece locations. They create new puzzles which give the game a fresh flavor when you play it through a second or third time!
Never worry about getting stuck! The ever-present option to receive a hint, as well as the absence of time limits, frees you from frustration and keep the game fast-paced and fun. At the same time, you don't need to use hints; it's your decision!
Mortimer Beckett and the Time Paradox also offers a comprehensive tutorial so you can learn how to play before getting started.
Great for all ages, Mortimer Beckett and the Time Paradox combines a compelling story with detailed and varied scenes, excellent graphics and illustrations, and fun gameplay!

Time Paradox, Aug 18, 2010

The moral is to travel through different timezones to recover lost pieces of a Time Bomb. As long as the Time Portals are around, objects tend to appear in places they shouldnt etc…SO collecting items and returning them back to where they belong is the primary objective of the game, then after completing each stage of returning things back to where they belong, you receive a piece of the Time Bomb…. I was stuck for awhile until I figured out that you had to finish certain tasks in a specific order, in order to move on…I Liked this Game, once I got the hang of it…Some of the hidden objects are very small, which is quite annoying if you have no knowledge of what the object actually is.OVERALL the game is actually good enough to play again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge.

I love this game! You have to go to different screens (looking for pieces) to complete all the puzzles properly. A real challenge, far superior to the run-of-the-mill hidden object games.
