BigShot is a challenging and unique real estate game because you have to deal with the effects of the economy when buying and selling. The economy can change from booming to shrinking in a month and make some properties more valuable while others lose value. You can also view the economy's future trends to plan ahead.

To play, choose a character, one of four difficulty settings, a starting property and how long you want the game to last. Each turn represents one month so you can play a quick 12 month game or as long as 96 months. Whoever owns the empire worth the most at the end of the game wins.

When gameplay begins, you can upgrade your current real estate, bid to buy new real estate from other AI players or the bank, enter auctions and more. In the beginning you may only be able to afford restaurants and retail stores but as your credit increases, the economy changes and you get richer you can buy media companies, hotels and more.
