Game Description

Warlords: Call to Arms Game Summary

Choose from a variety of races including men, elves, or orcs and wage battle over 25 different regions to take control of the land. Use gold gained from each battle to upgrade or purchase new units and take advantage of each races particular advantages.

How to Play

The aim of game is simple: get your men to the other side of the map without letting the enemy troops get to yours. For each unit which reaches a side, the territory bar will swing in the corresponding direction. If it goes all the way to the right, you win or if you are ahead when the time runs out, you'll also win. Control the yellow arrow with the up and down arrows (or 'W' and 'S' keys) to indicate where your soldiers will enter the battlefield. Cycle through soldier types with the 'A' and 'D' keys, and send out the unit with the 'Spacebar'. Press 'Q' to send out a charge of 8 men for every 20 kills you get.

I beat the whole game my first time playing, and I was only defeated 3 times. Very cool and fun game.

This is a very challenging game.  I did like that you are able to choose your next fighters with different key selections rather than having to use the mouse.  This is a lot better especially when using a laptop mouse pad.  I did find the game to be quite hard though.  I wish there was a difficulty selection available.  I was not even able to beat the first round.  I did find it a little unfair in that you have a limited army and on the first round, the computer opponent seems to have a much faster army with a better selection of soldiers.

I feel this game would be much better if you could actually win the first few battle and then have to use your strategy to buy different upgrades and add different soldiers to your army.

Conclusion:
For now this game will need some more playing time in order to figure it out better.  It does have the makings to be a fun game.
