How much money can you make running your own coffee shop? Coffee shop is a unique entertaining game suitable for almost all age groups and fun for the whole family. It’s simple yet entertaining. I found it to be very entertaining for the whole family as we tried to out sell each other. It requires you (the player) to set up a coffee shop by purchasing the ingredients, setting the prices, and coming up with the appropriate recipe. As the customers come by your shop you will see just what they are thinking, too expensive or worth the buck etc.  The customers will start to purchase your coffee and if it is satisfactory you will have a good approval rating earning more customers that are willing to pay higher prices, on the other hand, if your coffee isn’t satisfactory you may need to improve your recipe losing money in the process. Look out, if you don’t plan ahead you may find yourself having to close shop early due to poor planning losing valuable business. As with any business you are bound to experience some pesky problems such as ants in the sugar or sour milk. The temperature of the day or the cost of your coffee will be a key factor in your planning and may need to be adjusted from time to time. Planning means everything and a little insight can go a long way and help bring in the bucks. Who knows you just may catch a glimpse of the Pope in the process or serve him a cup of coffee. Good Luck with your coffee shop. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to add a snazzy name to your business.

I enjoyed this SIM game.  It is like managing your own coffee shop for a couple weeks.  If you price your product to high, fewer people are going buy it.  At the same time, if you price it to low, you may not make any money on it.  This would be a good game to teach younger kids about business while having a good time.  The reputation meter is a good addition as you want to try and keep your customers happy.  The better reputation you have, the more customers are willing to pay for your coffee.

Conclusion:
This is a fun little game.  I like to compete with other friends to see who can bring in the most money after two weeks!
