Game Description
Fans of "The Sims", Check This Out!
Trapped on a deserted island! Virtual Villagers is about a group of desperate people that have survived a catastrophic natural disaster and must learn to survive on the island of Isola.
Teach them to farm, research new technologies, build new living quarters, and have children to grow the village.
Guide the day-to-day lives of these villagers and help them explore and restore their new home. As your village grows and prospers, your villagers become curious about their mysterious new island home and the secrets it holds.
16 Puzzles to Solve
As your villagers grow in their skills, they will be able to do new things like remove the boulder to a secret cave and understand some of the mysterious plants on the island. Discover and solve these puzzle "milestones" by gaining experience in farming, research, breeding, building etc. and unlocking new technologies. You never know what is hidden on the island and discovering new things is a whole lot of fun.
Real Time Game Play
Just like Fish Tycoon from the same game developer, Virtual Villagers take place in real time meaning when you shut off the game, the villagers are still working and growing in their skills.
You will need to check in with them now and then to make sure they are staying on task, nobody is sick, and you are advancing in your discoveries. This is a nice feature if you don't want to sit in front of a game for hours and hours at a time.
A Unique Type of Game
If you are tired of the same old kind of game, Virtual Villagers will be a breath of fresh air and worth your time. Give a shot and download the free trial! Also, try the sequel, Virtual Villagers 2, that picks up where this game leaves off and the latest adventure Virtual Villagers 3!
Virtual Villagers Sequels!
Once you have solved this mystery, there are more mysteries on the island of Isola to uncover!
In Virtual Villagers 2, you find some children living on the island. Train these children to survive and grow and find out what kinds of secrets they might reveal!
In Virtual Villagers 3, you discover the ruins of an ancient city. What could this possibly be about? Find out now!

The greatest games ever!!!!!, Sep 04, 2009
by Austin Murphy (Traverse City, MI USA)
This game is better than all of the video games i have played put together! I have played many games but none of them speak to me like this one. My life was completely miserable until this game was made. I would give my entire life savings to play just one more second of this game. Any one who wouldn’t is way out of their mind. I am going to recommend this to everyone that I know, even if they don’t play video games. That concludes my review of Virtual Villagers the best game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Virtual Villagers is an amazingly brilliant game of which you have to survive without much food on a mysterious island. Get different people to do amazing jobs: Building, Researching, Farming, Healing and Parenting. Create new children and make sure your village survives. Earn tech points and buy elements to help you on this mysterious island! Solve puzzles and collect special items on your way. The aim of the game is to solve all the amazingly challenging puzzles. I recommend this game as it is wonderful and brilliant in many different ways. Good Luck! Keep your villagers alive and complete this genius game!

This game is an excellent game for crunching up a load of time. This game is extremely exciting as you never know what will come around the corner next as sometimes it is good and and other times it can be bad.

this game is way wicked!!!!!!!!, Jul 06, 2009

I’ve been playing this game for a whole year and it never fails to please me. I love to grow my own villager and it gives me a surprise every time I turned it on! I kept making more babies and I kept unlocking more techno’s!
Even though the process of the growth of the villager is slow, it’s worth it because the more adults I grow the faster and better it will be.

Virtual Villagers Player Comments
- "I like this game for its real time game play. The characters age and change while you are not playing it, making it all the more interesting and surprising when you log on again, never really knowing what your characters have been up to or if there are even still alive! You actually feel that they are real at times. Love this game, and it is great for all ages too!" - Cameron from Canada BC, 4.5/5 stars
- "I absolutley love this game. So much in fact that I purchased it. The graphics are so cute and well done. I like the concept of solving the puzzles. I even pick out favorite lil villagers. I love the fact that you are required to think about how and why you purcahse skill points. And now there's a sequel! I'm buying that one as well. This game is definatley a must have." - RocketGal4 from Somewhere in IN USA, 5/5 stars
- "At first this seems like a slow and pain staking adventure. However, once you have started your tiny village to survive and thrive, you are hooked. The villagers seem to come alive and you are involved with their daily lives. You even form a strong bond with each character. Hours of fun and very additive." - Christopher Devinn from Providence, RI USA, 5/5 stars
- "This game is great for anyone who likes the Sims, SimCity, Civilization, Tycoon games or anything like that." - Amanda from Chicago, US, 5/5 stars
